therealljidolAs we get closer to the end, the cuts are just going to end up being that much more difficult. This was certainly no exception.
Week 24 was not a good one for the vets. More to the point, it was pretty brutal to Second Chancers - and even more distinctly, it appears the LJ Sisterhood has claimed more of the remaining males in the competition!!
Alll four of the contestants leaving us this week have legendary status within the Halls of Idol. These are truly icons leaving us this week, people who have brought so much to previous seasons, and this one as well.

That list of names could just as easily have been the final four.
Also, does it seem like perhaps talking about vets vs. newbies and who came from second chance and boys vs. girls was oddly predictive? Meta is dangerous, people.

You might also see some comments from me in your old entries -- there's a small backlog of comments that I've wanted to make but haven't posted, because a friend of mine had a small challenge in place on the game, the social nature of it, and getting to a certain place. No further details, except that I owe her dinner.
To all of you - it's been an extraordinary pleasure, a wonderful chance to write with such a diverse, fascinating, and talented group of writers. I know that I've been enriched by this experience, and I'm a better writer for reading (and collaborating with) you amazing people.
