Gary, I'll happily let you have all the peeps you want. I can't stand those things. Just ewww! Now chocolate bunny's on the other hand are another story. Yeah, start with eating off the ears. Yummm!

Just been listening to music online and this morning went to the sunrise service at the park and then to church for the musical we had.

Have no great plans for the rest of today. Just relaxing which is good with me.

A quiet day for us. The Easter Pirate visited again, making Miss Four cry because she thought he'd eaten all the eggs, but fortunately he'd just hidden them and we were able to find them all before he came back to retrieve them. Really, you'd think pirates would learn not to do the buried treasure lark and just spend the loot instead.

I have a first draft of my idol entry off to my partners in crime. Hopefully they like it and we're well on our way to actual posting!

Peeps-in-relation-to-Easter are marshmallow-filled-and-crusted-in-sugar.... things [I can't bear to call them candy]... in the shape of bunnies and chicks, dyed in ridiculously fluorescent colours.

Edited to add: I have it on good authority that they explode gloriously in the microwave and that they writhe most sinuously when drowned and dissolved in vodka.

We don't need your peeps, we've got massive amounts of cupcakes (like 50 of them for 4 people). java_fiend and I made them ourselves, from scratch. I made my chocolate ones with my speciality peanut butter icing. He found a recipe for some white chocolate cupcakes and I tried my hand at buttercream icing from scratch (my peanut butter kind was the first and only kind I've made until now). It turned out well I think! We made the icing Easter colored too. I'll post pics later when I'm not on my iPhone!

As pixie117 has already stated, we made eleventy billion cupcakes this morning. And they are scrumptious. We're having honey baked ham and the yummy fixins! So yummmy. :-)

But before we go, pixie117 is trying to prove to me that it's *really* her phone's fault that she makes a billion typos. This should be good. :-p

I cannot stand Peeps. Absolutely, positively. They are vile. They should be outlawed.

Jelly beans, Reese's peanut butter eggs, and dark chocolate M&M's, OTOH...go anywhere near my stash and I will scream bloody murder. Because nobody touches my candy. Nobody. Unless I offer you some, that is.

Late to the party here... we went to my sister's house where my nephew had organised an easter egg hunt inside their house. S and T seemed to have a good time, although I'm not sure T really understood the whole thing, but she understood that there was chocolate at the end of it :)

Then I slipped up and almost destroyed the Easter Bunny myth for my nephew. In my defence, he's almost 8 and I kind of forgot he still believes... anyway, no harm done, don't think he noticed, but I still felt bad!

Now it's Monday and I'm hoping to get my draft written for my most excellent writing partners, then do some gardening, and go to the markets to get fruit and vegetables - as some kind of antidote to the masses of chocolate we've consumed...

Reese's peanut butter eggs are the only Easter candy I will fight for, I like their chocolate to PBstuff ratio better than the regular cups.

Today is mostly quiet, though I should actually do my homework now instead of just saying I'm going to do.

My weekend was super freakin' busy, but I still managed to hook up with two of the hottest Idolers for my threesome ;) They've been busy brainstorming away while I've been too busy to send too many emails, but I'm excited to actually, for once, write AFTER my partner(s). It will be an extra challenge. Normally I like to be quick. :P

I won't bore you with all the details of my busy weekend, though we did pick up some pirated DVDs and, OMG, has anyone else seen Caligula? We watched that last night and... wow. XD

Sammy-Joe Easter Bunny left 7 little toys around the house for my dad and his wife to find. They found 6 before I had to leave for the day.

Daddy-Joe Easter Bunny (aka his wife) left rather full baskets of goodies for my brother and I. My basket was a sock monkey head, it's really quite cute. ^^

Easter was so full of awesome, I loved it. I even got a nap in before I headed back home AND I dont' have a headache from the 6 hour drive, AND I got over 31mpg (according to my in-car computer system), which is super crazy awesome considering I gassed up at $3.98 a gallon. ^^

AAAAAanyway! I think the coffee I drank at 7pm is still kicking in, though I really should be getting to sleep soon. I have homework to finish up (I had to read a chapter in my book and didn't bring that with me) before my Econ Quiz tomorrow. :)

P.S. I need an Easter Icon... This was the closest I got. Hey. At least it's a bunny!
