Enjoy Glee! I was actually home in time to watch it the other day, and then it was an Oprah special, that didn't even have a show. I was So Disappointed!

I had to give a talk today. I hate giving talks. I am trying to change that self talk. But anyway, I openeing with this:

In other news, this newly-foreign hippie has finished reading. I think during the weekend I will make time for commenting 'cause I've been just ABYSMAL at it this season.

ETA: I just found out that I got a very good grade on a history paper I wrote in a language I'm only passably able to speak, let alone write in. Go me!

So this week we've been sick...yesterday...Carrie went back to work...and took daytime theraflu meds..

Oh yeah... I'm sure that Carrie conducted a meeting completely stoned out of her mind...

She told Claudia last night "I'm not taking that again, I'd rather be sick and miserable than to be high like that".

Well I'm just dreading having to deal with whatever wasn't taken care of...today (although I think she did okay but it was noticed)

I'm still on my week vacation from responsibility. I get to have breakfast with a new friend tomorrow and then dinner with Mr. Boyfriend when he gets home from work. Whee!

* That week, there were 57 entries, which is now only 1 less than there is this week

DDoS attacks suck. Dreamwidth gets them every now and then. It's not that it's hard to figure out what's going on, or particularly difficult to shut down, it's avoiding collateral damage (banning legit traffic) and otherwise tedious work. All made worse because everyone's bitching your site is down (no shit, eh? You think we like it this way? :).

So for me today, errands, a psychiatrist appointment, and general house and schoolwork if I can pull my ass together. Hopefully whoever has the grudge against LJ doesn't turn it our way or that will annoy me. :)

Well I'm here...that's saying something. My boss just had a baby. Well his wife did, but still...the office is full of excitement. He will be out for a week or two. He's 47 and it's his first (his wife is much younger in the typical OC way of things and has two teenaged kids already). So he never thought he'd have a baby of his own and now he does and is freaking out. Craziness abounds.

But I'm caught up at work for the most part and hopefully things will go easy while he's away. Hope everyone else is doing well!

I got to sleep in this morning which was entirely awesome. I'm currently convincing myself that I want to go and exercise, and then plan to head to campus to do homework this afternoon (it's easier to do the excel projects when someone else pays for the ink of printing). I also need to spend a chunk of time outside because it is gorgeous here today.

Hmm second post from me. java_fiend and I need costume ideas for a scavenger hint type thing in downtown L.A. We also need a team name. We can't seem to think of anything. We'd need to be able to run around, so nothing too crazy...but something kind of creative so we could perhaps win the costume contest would be nice.

Holy crap is it hot today. I think we're darn near close to 90. Yikes. Thankfully, it's suppose to cool down starting tomorrow. If this is a preview of summer, no thank you!

Still making my way through entries but am enjoying what I'm reading so far. Lots of good stuff! But man, it is totally nervewracking to sit here and wait for the Gatekeepers to decide our fate. Oy!
