I'm having a few days of just me & the kids while the hubby and his gf are off elsewhere. I like moments like this because they show me that whilst I could survive without my husband if it came to that, it is so much nicer having him around.

As to doing and new? I'm presently much less stressed than normal, if only because I'm now a permanent resident of Sweden and did not, in fact, get deported. Yay!

I'm relieved it's a gatekeeper round actually. This spares the time I usually spend looking at the polls.

too much stress all around, my workplace is completely insane, my youngest is getting teeth, the oldest has finally started to separate his three languages and is doing all night vocabulary tests on everyone, I've not slept more than 4 hours straight in a month and not had a day off in 3 weeks.

I'm (no pun intended vis a vis my entry this week) a barrel of monkeys right now aren't I?

My Wednesdays are usually quite busy, and today will be no exception. =)

I'm noticing that since no one is obligated to read the entries, and I'd think the gatekeepers don't want to give themselves away, my entry has (so far) zero comments. Kinda odd.

(Not that I'm fishing -well, kinda am- but if it's because I stunk up the joint, I wouldn't mind knowing where I went wrong)

I am going to have a go at tackling Kindle later today and see if I can get a book out in that format. Depending on who I speak to, it's either going to be really, really easy or I'm going to tear my hair out over it...

Slow day in Ye Olde Green Room, eh? Looks like LJ's little SNAFU this morning sent everybody away to seek entertainment elsewhere. Hopefully everybody will trickly back in now that theafaye fixed it!

I'm more than a wee bit nervous about the Gatekeepers this week. This seriously wasn't the week to throw out a turd... which I unfortunately, think I did. UGH.

Had a horrible day at work yesterday. I mean entirely sucktastic. Bleh. I'm taking it as a sign from the Universe that it's time to get my ass into gear. So yeah...

Anyway... I hope everybody still reads/comments on each other's work even though we don't have to. Hope everybody is having a marginally tolerable, if not good day!!!

Well, LJ is sorta kinda back up for me. I can finally read my Friends Page but trying to click onto anything? AAAAAAAAARGH.

It took me over 10 minutes to finally get here, for example :p I can't click back to "previous entries". I'm almost afraid to try anything else. Nasty LJ gremlins :grr:

My SIL worked at a fish-n-chips place in that same time frame -- she still refuses to eat fish.
