We have made it past the Top 75 and are well on our way to the Top 50.
When you count the folks who signed up for Second Chance and everyone who has fallen along the way, that's 261 people. Getting to this point hasn't been easy. Getting further isn't going to be any easier either.
A contestant did not make it to the starting gate this time. Which is always unfortunate. Considering how far she made it, it almost makes it worse to miss the deadline at this point.
Purple Kelly also apparently left this week via the Green Room.
On the subject of this vote though, it is the first week of THE MERGED TRIBE.
Congratulations. You have made it!
It is also the week when we are losing the bottom 5. Yeah, I said 5.
It's not as many as we've lost the last couple of weeks of course. Then again, there aren't as many people as there were. So it evens itself out. :)
Read the entries. Comment, because it's the thing to do. All the cool kids are doing it.
Of course vote for your favorite entries - and tell people about them. Not just yours, but if you find something you love, let other people know that they should be reading it too. Not just "vote for my buddy", get them to read! Because otherwise they are losing out on whatever it was that made you like it in the first place - and cheating them out of that experience is a shame, isn't it?
