Green Room - Week 17 - Weekend Edition

I apologize for how late this Green Room is today.

I had to go get some tests done.

The verdict? Idol contestants were in fact correct.

I have no heart. They just couldn't find one. Also missing were compassion, mercy and a conscience.

However my blood-lust and evil glands appear to be abnormally large, filling up those otherwise empty spaces quite well.

They attempted to do some bloodwork. But it turns out that it's pure acid!
I guess that I should have told them in advance! Oops. My bad.

I'm sure the techs will recover. Eventually.

It's 70 degrees out, so my kids and I are pitching a tent in the backyard and we're having a campout. They'll be telling ghost stories while I'm sitting with my itty bitty laptop, reading the rest of the LJ Idol entries!

I am stunned that I am posting so early in a green room.

I would gladly offer to have no heart if it meant I needed no digestive system. I've had a killer stomach flu for like 48 hours now and its truly made my life a little vile.

On the positive side, two weeks of spring break after today. On the negative side, I'm in administration so I don't get to go anywhere.

BECAUSE I WANT POLL GRAPHS. I want to be able to track my progress and all this behind the scenes stuff is driving me mad, MAD I TELLS YA.

Other than that, not much is going down.

ETA: Oh, yes and I just got through playing through Portal for, like, the billionth time. That game is BEYOND fun, y'all. Overused memes, whatever.

This weekend I will be trying my ABSOLUTE BEST to stay off my foot as much as possible! I even have all my schoolwork set up by the couch where my laptop is set up so I can just sit and relax.

I do have something to do on Sunday, and some laundry to do... but that's about it. ^^

Weekend is full of stuffs! Should get out for a gaming night tonight. Spending time with my dad tomorrow morning, he has an autograph from Martin Luther King Jr he's trying to get authenticated and appraised at an autograph show. Have a date tomorrow night, and Sunday will probably be recovery time :D

Acid? That's a fine trick. I wonder if I can get my blood switched out for acid too. It would certainly keep those pesky vampires at bay! And while I do have a heart, I am absolutely bereft soul-wise. Must be why I enjoy this craziness so much.

Exciting SGTV filming tonight and tomorrow! And also probably editingeditingediting on Sunday. I'm still behind on my freelance novel editing gig by a month. Oy. Oh, and worrying about Idol, of course.

Day is blah here. Several more hours till I can get off work. I think I'll be lame and spend the night working from home because I'm so awesome and well lame like that. Go me!

I'm not the only one who feels sad that the weekend is too short before it even officially begins, right? I just read in Cosmo that you feel crappy until about noon on Saturday and then start feeling crappy again by 4 pm on Sunday. Work sucks the life right out of us, I swear!

I have few plans for the weekend. I rarely do. We'll probably have a movie afternoon on Sunday and pop out for a bit tomorrow but I play things by ear and try to motivate myself to clean at some point.
