Entries for this week's topic, "My Favorite LJ User — and Why," are due tomorrow at 2 p.m. EST (GMT-4) here. So far, less than half of the entries are posted!

Again, I am very busy at work, and won't likely have time to cross people off the list, but as long as you make sure you've posted your entry on the entry post, you should be fine. Just remember, being one of the last people to get their entry in last week unfortunately didn't work for dizzydog, so don't count on it working in your favor!

Hmmm. I think I may join this action when the next contest ends. Shall I join the community now? Can one begin voting at anytime? Your FAQ didn't really cover these things.

You don't have to belong to the community for most votes, although sometimes there will be special votes (tie breakers, mostly) that are for members only. You can join the community anytime, and if you do, you'll be more likely to see the announcement for when the next season starts, so you can be a contestant.

I guess the FAQ was more geared towards what happens with the contestants in the game than with the community in general. We'll have to update it or something. Thanks for pointing that out!
