Green Room - Week 16 - Day 4

Welcome to Saturday! OK. Most of you have been experiencing Saturday for awhile now, but I've been trying to get some quality rest in, so I'm just showing up to it!

I did consider fleeing to Illinois to get that rest, but everyone is doing that these days. I doubt that anyone could have offered a better deal, or had anything to work out. So I stayed, and slept!

Hopefully everyone noticed that they have an extra day to write - http://community.livejournal.com/therealljidol/435280.html . But WHAT DOES THAT MEAN????? Only the Shadow knows, and he isn't telling. Probably out of fear that they will cast Seth Rogan in the role.

Who would I be afraid they would cast as me? I really can't think of anyone that would make sense that I wouldn't like....

But I'm not too fond of Kirsten Dunst. She annoys me for some reason. Who would I like? That chic from Glee, the counselor, is probably the only celeb who somewhat looks like me. Red hair? Check. Doe eyed innocence and that oblivious look on her face at all times? Check. Yep. Good fit.

I'm still leaning toward a bye. I have ideas, just too all over the place with RL issues right now to write. I could if I had to, but the time for byes is winding down anyway and RL is kicking my butt at the moment.

I finally posted my entry, thinking that it was due today. My problem is that I tend to take the same amount of physical writing time no matter what - all the real work gets done in my head for a couple of days before it hits the keyboard.

And, I'd like 'em to cast Robert Downey, Jr but I fear it would be that guy who played Booger in the Nerds movies.

It's already Sunday here - very early Sunday. I'm up with stomach pains. Strong, drawn out pain in my lower abdomen. Kind of like... um... labour.

Either way, I can't sleep, and figured if it is the Real Thing, I had better finish and post my entry so that I can go off and have this baby and not worry about idol!!


I don't know who they'd cast in the story of me... someone with curly hair? It'd probably be Andi McDowell, even though she's getting a little old. And she's too tall.

I noticed the extra day for the deadline (which makes me think things are afoot) but ignored it in favor of getting my entry done before tech weekend.

Also, how can a show with only 50 light and sound cues be taking this long? I think all things expand to fill the time allotted, even if there isn't that much work.

I think, if anyone was ever silly enough to make a movie of my life, Melissa Gilbert would be an excellent choice.

Of course, they would need a time machine for the young version, but surely if they wanted to do it right, they'd figure out something.

Hopefully I get a say and I could attract Sandra Bullock to play the part. She's about the only famous person I can think of who looks vaguely like me that has sort of the same kind of personality ish.

I could totally see Sandra Bullock as you now that you mention it. Angelina? Not so much. Sure, she has lots of babies too, but I just don't see it working for me...she's too...Hollywood fake? I dunno. I like her well enough, sure, but Sandra fits better in my opinion. And I respect Sandra Bullock a heck of a lot as an actress.

I had a total panic moment when I woke up at noon today. My entry was finished last night and I thought due date was Sunday. But, being sleep-addled I panicked and hoped out of bed thinking I'd missed the deadline and it was today, then was reassured when I checked.

Woody Allen, that'd be terrible. If I was lucky, maybe I could get Anthony Edwards to play my part. If I'm REALLY lucky they'll get Vin Diesel to play my part, and it'll be full of explosions and adventure and babes, and I'll be like "Yeah, I've mellowed out a lot since then."

Having an extra day means people can procrastinate one day longer than they usually do! If it means anything more than that, I'll find out tomorrow :D

It's a bit hard to tell in this particular photo, but when I got this haircut, I thought I looked a bit like Neve Campbell.



Of course, she's a decade older than me, so maybe Lacey Chabert would be a better choice. She's only a year older than me.

When I was younger, my grandmother used to tell me that Alison Sweeney [she of Days of Our Lives and Biggest Loser fame] and I could be sisters. Then she got trim and pretty and I got the opposite. Oh, what would she say if she saw Alison now? I can hear it... "You should go be on her show, yes, then you could look like her again!"
So wait, no, maybe I would like her to play me. Then I'd be cute again, so... yeah, let's go with that.

I'm a tiny bit relieved that I got booted last week. I am at a total loss of what to do with the open topic this week, and I'm only playing the home game.
