So brainstorming some ideas. I really would like to have fun with this open topic. I may even be up for working with someone if the right ideas spring forth. I guess I am just out for fun this week, dangit. Last week was a fun and random entry, I almost want to try and continue with fun stuff this week.

In other news, both children are out (daycare, school), so I'm considering having a little nap.

In a more serious vein: I'm suffering from burnout. My life has gotten seriously hectic since the New Year, and it's wearing me down. I'm feeling so confused right now, I'm not even sure what I'd like to write about, much less 'bring my "A" game'.

Still, I'd rather "go out fighting" than "bow out meekly"... and I thank everybody for voting for me this past week. I really thought I was done for this time; thank you for proving me wrong. So I'll *TRY* to come up with something. Right now, though, my imagination seems to have taken a powder break...

Maybe writing about what is going on in your life will help? I have had to do that before since that's all I had on my mind at the time. It's open, so sometimes it's a good chance to just air things out a bit...

I tend to avoid wearing red shirts as I often wear khakis for work and I might have to also go shopping at a Target and don't want to confuse people into thinking that I work there (they WON'T give me the employee discount, dammit!)

Still, mentions of the Starchair Enterpoop tend to bring on flashbacks of that mission on the Planet of Spunky Chunky Mary Lou Retton Clones. Thanks a lot, Gary...

Anyway, since I tend to take the topic prompts literally, It's going to take a bit of thought to see how I do it with "Open Tropic" -- maybe a bit about being out on the cabana with a tropical drink or maybe that time I was at the bar that was part of the swimming pool, or those girls I met on the beach...
