So don't start exhaling just yet!!!

If, on the other hand, you want to come over and put up a bookcase or two for me that would be helpful. That way I can keep counting the votes, and by the time I look up from the screen again, the bookcases will be put together. The way it feels sometimes with the counting, you may be able to chop down a tree and make a custom bookcase by the time I look up from the screen again! :)

I've been trying to comment as I go, but slowing down on it a bit as I try to make sure I read everything carefully and give it a good thinking over. Some excellent work this week! I think I've gotten lots of comment love this week, so need to hold up my end of the interaction.

Yes, I'm in the same boat re commenting. WAs away all weekend and returned to some marvelous comments on my piece. Did a lot of reading yesterday and very consciously worked on paying it forward with the comments.

I've already sent in votes, and there were several entires I loved (and voted for), but didn't give comment love. Sad face :( I just didn't know how to respond to them.

Meanwhile, I've been looking up corsets I could buy to add to my pirate costume, in the event I get to film the screenplay I wrote for my entry. Sad face at not being able to do this fun thing with pixie117, but I think she was busy having way more fun elsewhere!

Oh! And working on my screenplay "how to" guide. Will probably be able to post it to share with folks tomorrow :D Just in time for the next work room!

What am I doing to fill my time? Well I'm spending my time in the happiest place on Earth and actually posting from there aswe speak!

Yep, java_fiend and I are at Disneyland! That was my sooper seekrit surprise! Soooo much fun was had! I'm the happiest girl in the world :)

So now who might be wishing he'd either used a poll for counting or waited unit there were only 35 people left to do this now. I've seen comments made that it was too much work to type in 50 names so they were only doing a few. If this is true I'd like a list of their names (I'll pay) so I can skip over reading their's next time whether I survive the culling or not (are you part Wraith?). There are a lot of good reads out there and they all deserve an equal chance. I'd have liked to have list 75.

I'd put your bookcases together but I'm not promising they'll hold any books for long.

That saddens (and worries me) that people would say that. I read every single entry. Yes, it takes time...but there's good stuff out there. Lots of good stuff. To not put in the effort (barring RL issues that can't be prevented I suppose) is really bothersome.

A few votes either way could mean life or death for anyone. Everyone deserves to be looked at equally, rather they are friends or not.

Still reading... finished the first two pages, and one or two others here and there. I'm hoping to get the rest of the entries read during lunch, although I'm going to be leaving work early for a 3pm doctor appointment, so if all goes well I'll have another two hours of reading time available between the time I get out of the appointment and the time bowling starts at 6:15. Should be plenty of time to get the rest read (I hope).

Oh - and I've been very pleased with how much comment love I've been getting this week, so thanks to everyone who left some! *Hugs y'all*

Well, I left the house at about 6:30 this morning, worked all day (seven clients... a VERY long day) and then caught the 7 PM train to get home at 8:30. We grocery-shopped, filled a cupcake order, and I made lunch for the kids (and me!). Cleaned the kitchen, called my kids, and then got my clothes ready for tomorrow (I keep everything in the bathroom, as rattling around in the closet at 5:30 AM is not appreciated for SOME reason).

Now bed. Geez.

I'm still awake because of some misguided idea that if I stay awake, I'll be able to prolong the three-day weekend. What will probably happen instead is that I'll start snoozing in my first class tomorrow. Oh, denial.

I read everyone's entries this week. Hopefully I'll find the time to go back and leave some comments, because this was a very good week for entries. Not having a poll to refresh is a little bit relaxing, but I'll probably start to get very worried as 9:00 tomorrow approaches!

Yeah, I probably shouldn't be rubbing it in. I think we might have too much travel around this time, now, since my birthday is end of Nov, and we're already going to be in Langkawi at the start of Nov. XD

I'm reading with horror about the quake in NZ. We don't have relatives or close friends there, but we live in an area where there are a lot of NZers. I can't believe how many people have been already confirmed dead. :*(

We heard about it right before I went to bed last night. Same area as the last quake, yes? There was a photo of the rubble which was the Christchurch cathedral. We didn't hear any injured/dead count, though.

Word. One of the most fun things I ever did was to take all the books off all the shelves in our house and alphabetise them... we're talking well over a thousand books here.

Oh come now Gary! Bookshelves are for plebes and proper adults. Those us with an interest in 'fun' and 'spontaneity' just opt for piles of books all about the place. Gives it that sort of Bohemian feel we don't get in our work lives. ;)

I'm echoing the comments of how great everyone is this week. I tried to at least comment on everything I voted on, but I wasn't able to comment on even all of those. Sometimes I just don't know what to say and 'good post' doesn't cut it, you know? I am feeling more pressure to comment with SOMETHING though, since there's not vote for people to check and I don't want them to worry or feel unloved. I imagine a lot of people are doing the same thing.

I'm pretty good with IKEA, so odds are if I did it they would hold up pretty nice. The problem is payment ;).

Yesterday was pretty busy, we went to Jersey to do a scouting run at said IKEA for dining room tables and sleeper sofas. Then our favorite... WEGMANS. cheshire23 and I are Rochester natives, and it should tell you something when people there will take their out of town guests to a grocery store when showing them around the area. It's just that good. But Albany doesn't have one due to a "gentleman's agreement" with a local supermarket here which is nowhere near as good. So since we travel a lot we do a lot of our grocery shopping two hours away from where we live.

There is no school this week, which means today is a full house instead of a shuffle to get people where they need to be. Strange, this. Hope all is well with all of you.
