The special powers, which have been playing a roll in the last couple weeks (and since most of them expire at 75, the time frame for them to be used is shrinking) remaining in the game as of right now:
Immunity (for themselves): 2
Immunity (to give to someone else): 3
Back in the game tokens: 2
Change Tribes: 2
Topsy Turvy: 1
As of before this poll:
4 contestants with both Byes
21 contestants with 1 Bye left
The rest of you (including those coming in from SCI without a safety net) have used them all.
Which sounds horrible, except when you consider to make it after we hit 75 and the byes expire, you will need to be working without the net anyway. So maybe people are just getting prepared early. :)

Date: 2011-02-19 04:10 pm (UTC)Like now. I had a nifty entry mostly written on my phone from work. But I got horrible news I wasn't expecting yesterday. My best friend from high school passed away yesterday at the age of 30. I never even knew she was sick due to a falling out we had not too long ago.
So my entry may change, or I might use my last bye just because I'm feeling kind of sad and I'm thinking a lot about her today. It's just so strange and not something I was prepared for. I wrote an entry on Brandy last season that some of you may remember.

Playing without a net has driven me to do a bit better then I would have otherwise, I think. A-game is bein' brought!

None of the kids (or my dad) know she's coming, so it will be a good surprise for them. They all miss her a ton! She has to leave again tomorrow morning, but at least we'll have an afternoon/night together. Pizza will be ordered because we love it, and it's a fairly cheap meal :)
Tomorrow I have to get back to work again. I have a client who's coming by at 4 pm, so I need to get his paperwork done before then.
