There is a lot of great stuff in there this week, which as usual means that (for whatever reason) there are some folks who just aren't getting the love/attention they deserve.

It's kind of crazy to think we are already here, and it's just a short slide into the Top 75, where the byes, and most of the special powers expire! It should make for an interesting couple of weeks!

Sunday was the calm before the storm, literally. Looks like my corner of Ohio is going to.get a blizzard, an ice storm, or both. I may end up taking a forced internet break if the power goes out, and I really don't want to!

Had a busy weekend reading, spending time with family, and so on. My music video premiered in Hawaii yesterday and it sounds like it was well received! So that's exciting. Not too many people re-sharing it on Facebook yet, though I was a little o.O faced over my dad linking it on the Facebook page of a Christian radio station!

I've gotten through all of tribe one in the poll and I'd really like to get through the rest to put some shout outs this week, but I highly doubt I'll get that far, so I'll just mention a few stand outs I've read so far: black_aspect, momebie, java_fiend, and in particular, if you want to read some of the fiction that made joeymichaels popular last season, you should check out his entry this week. I love how completely bizarre his storytelling can get.

Heading down to Johor Bahru tomorrow, will be in Singapore Wednesday and at least some of the weekend. Will be getting Internet on my new phone, but won't be able to use it in Singapore, so, I doubt I'll be around much.

Rather "exciting" night last night here. The thing that had me thinking about what I wrote about this week was that I was taking a new antibiotic, which I tend to be allergic to... and well, as luck would have it, we had to go to the emergency room in the middle of the night since I was wheezing pretty oddly.

My weekend involved going out to a local comedy club, doing several loads of laundry, some grocery shopping, and lots of sitting on my tuchas playing around on Facebook and reading LJ. Whee!

I have to go to bed now so that I can get up in 6.5 hours and head off to work, but after that I'm on VACAY for the next week, w00t. We fly out to Vegas at 8am Tuesday morning. I can't wait!!

My weekend was busy! Actually, the last half of the week was busy. Now it is hot hot hot, which is making me grumpy. Boooooo to Summer.

I haven't been reading, no. I'm giving myself the week off in terms of Idol (except the GR, obviously) because of real life stuff. Hopefully be back on track with the next topic.

I made a blanket this weekend. Okay, it's mostly done. I'm still putting the edges on, then I have to sew it together and do the final border. But still, the boring part is over with! And okay, so it's a small blanket. Think lap sized, or perhaps for a toddler. STILL. It counts!

After I buy a couple dozen AA batteries tomorrow, I'm sitting down to finish reading everyone's entries. Okay, okay, after I change out the dead batteries for the new ones in all of the remotes/gadgets, THEN I'll read.

Not catching the auto-corrections on my phone every times. My eyes are pretty watery. There have been some pretty funny mistakes. Namaste became nasty. Linky ( an LJ friends slang) became kinky. It is fever-induced madlibs.

My phone doesn't auto correct, but it also doesn't auto capitalize. Also, the buttons are so small and my fingers so large that I feel like I'm trying to type with Oscar Meyer hotdogs all the time.

Busy weekend.. Claudia took Carrie out to Morimoto's in Napa on Saturday for her birthday (yes, the Morimoto on Iron Chef)

Last week was very busy - got a job and all this paperwork (guy from agency screwed some of it up so need to re-do from scratch today.. Grumble grumble) to get in. They're hoping that we can start new job week from today but we'll see - background checks take forever!!!

Tomorrow I have to present my Lab Notebook in my Integrated Science class. We've done 3 full labs that need to be entirely incorporated into it. I... umm.. have them all but still need to write reflections on the first two. >.>

Precalc is a total breeze so far, the only interesting/hard parts have been the algebra portions. I'm a whiz at trig. Sooooooooo....

Congrats to everyone that made it to the top 100! I dunno about a short slide to 75 unless there's some tricks coming up, not counting bye outs and voluntary drops we're breaking even this week. And if the trend continues we'll gain one more from SCI than we lose in the polls next week :)

My "thing" from this weekend was "Potty Boot Camp" with my 2 year old.

I'm hoping I'm not sick...I haven't gotten out of bed yet, but I felt absolutely horrible when I went to bed last night. Ugh. I have to go to work today too since I took two and a half days last week.

Great weekend though. I got to be dorky with java_fiend, met up with another LJ friend of mine for dinner that I barely could eat because I felt like butt. All in all, not bad as long as I'm not sick!

Morning to all. My Second Chance entry is written. Need to enter it to my journal and X-post it after work this PM. I also have a doc appt for The Mothership after work. She is improving some each day. The pain from the skin graft has passed. Hopefully less than a month to go for the "Cone of Shame", and then she can really be free from the events of last November eighth.
Fuzzy1 turns 18 tomorrow! My baby! 
Since last spring, every one of us turned a " special number" for our birthdays:
The Mothership, 80, Hubby was 'Fiddy', his dad would have also been 80, College Kid was 21, Fuzzy1 18 and my b-day in March will be my 'fiddy'.

Mornin' All... 'twas a good weekend. The lovely pixie117 came home from the wilds of Missouri on Saturday, finally free and unencumbered! We celebrated with some super yummy ramen at a local ramen house, hung out, obsessed about the polls and dorked out with some Wii trivia games. It was good fun but not very exciting photographic material I'm afraid. :-)

Now my poor girl is sick. Boo on that. Hopefully she gets better soon because I have soooper seeekrit adventure for her this weekend. ;-)

Those photos aren't of me at my best, I'm all hot and sweaty and worn out. (You do meant the finish line shots of the 10K I ran on Saturday right?)

The rest of my weekend was quiet. I'm back on contract so I need to start gathering paperwork to prep for rehearsal starting on Sunday. My boy is still working a third shift schedule - his office decided it was easier for him just to stay on that time frame until this project is done - and we're still overlapping in weird ways at home.
