I said it yesterday, so I figured I'd just cut and paste that section for today!

There isn't much traffic in the Work Room right now, post wise, but hopefully everyone is reading over there, because there are already some good ideas being thrown around. (Those kids better not break a window throwing around one of those there "idears"!!)

Fascinating week. This morning I discovered I've been to an obscure non-tourist town in the US a friend used to live in. I was staying there with a friend of my parents' a little more than six years ago. I love discovering how small this world is.

Also warded off an ex-sex partner today. I always feel like he messages me because he wants more, even though he never asks specifically for it. There aren't too many guys who can get away with implied or overt sexual discussion with me. LOL.

My week... my week. I have to decide TODAY whether I'm leaving to go home tomorrow or Saturday... or possibly Sunday. It snows everyday in Michigan from now until who knows when (well past the 10 day forecast), but it seems to be snowing more on Saturday, the day I intended to leave... so I'm not so sure what to do.

Leave a day early and miss out on one more night with the bf until who knows when? Or leave on Saturday and risk hitting a snowstorm once I hit my homestate? Or leave a day late and possibly be fighting tiredness on my first days of school?

Well blah to all that!

ETA And just my luck the 3-day extended national forecast on the weather channel isn't working. He only told me how Thursday was going to be. How about the other three days? Kthanks.... -.-

comedychick kept me up past my bedtime again. Is this where I tell on her? :P

I'm a tad bit stressed...my 13 year old niece just went Facebook official with a boy that sounds kinda sketchy to me. She's never met him in RL apparently, he just added all the "prettiest" girls from her school. Considering his photos all look like a wannabe popstars modeling shots, I'm really worried. And 1800 miles away. Technology and kids are scary business. Looks like I'm gonna be the mean aunt who puts a stop to this creepiness.

They've never met IRL? I mean, I get the whole relationship starts online thing, but at 13, it's not like they can even plan to meet up on their own. That's just strange. On the good side of things, 1800 miles apart means there's less chance of anything truly terrible happening.

My week has been about average. I left the husband feeding my goats for me[1] so I could get to work on time this morning.[2]

I have my semi-annual eye doctor appointment this afternoon, so I get to leave work early, yay! Also, the hubby and I have made plans to go down to Gatlinburg / Pigeon Forge this weekend, since he's off work the rest of the week and I've got a 3-day weekend for the MLK holiday. They keep the Christmas lights up until the end of February, I think, so that'll be fun. =)

I've been to Gatlinburg once! On accident too! We were just driving around when I lived in SC (right at the Ga/TN/SC border) and we were like "whoa! Where are we?!?". The GPS told us the town when we looked, but we were surprised! It's neat! Have fun!

My week is going well. I had a snow day off yesterday and decided to take the day off today because we got about two feet of snow and most of the sidewalks haven't been shoveled yet. I feel bad making Fargo, my guide dog, work in those conditions because it's hard on both of us. I guess I'm a wimp.

I wrote my entry yesterday and I'm pretty pleased with it. I'm getting a lot of very different comments on it which is interesting.

Life goes on and the daily routine is back to normal. We're going out to see family most likely this weekend so we're pounding out the details. It will likely involve us going through more paperwork. I also get to practice my lockpicking skills, as there are several old filing cabinets that the keys are long since lost to. Failing that, a diamond-carbide grinding wheel will surely let me in.

Trying to fix my sleep cycle that got severely messed up over the last week. So far, seems like it might get back on track.

I'm sitting cross-legged on my couch, leaning over my adorable baby to type to all of you about how excited I am to be typing to you! This is my first time in the Green Room! Do you know how excited I am? I watched LJ Idol last year because gratefuladdict was in it, and I never realized how fun it would be to be here. Yay for LJ musings!

And now I need to turn my attention to aforesaid baby, because she's too amazingly, sickeningly cute for words.

My week has been fairly crappy. Not like OMG AWFUL or anything, just -- well, a ton of smaller things going wrong that all add up to the This Week is Crap designation.

I mostly will look forward to winter being over, as I'm really getting tired of snow already this year. I do go to San Francisco in a couple weeks, though, so that'll be a very nice break from the weather. Wish it were for pleasure instead of business, but still -- I'll take it. :)

My boyfriend is making dinner tonight (mmm chicken fajitas) and he's at the point where I need to leave him be in our little kitchen because anywhere I stand will be in the way. Someday I'll have a place with a two person kitchen.

In other news I think I'm going to go with my first thought on the topic this week, even though it seems like I could be in danger of writing about the same thing everyone else does. Ah well, sometimes obvious isn't so bad, right?
