Whoo and indeed hoo!!

One day you can tell your grandchildren, or the kids of strangers that you meet in the park, before somebody calls the cops because you're extra creepy, that you were there on that 1/11/11 day and you saw what happened!!

All of those astonishing events that they will be reading about in the textbooks that are downloaded directly into their brains, you were there for them!

It is also the day that "that thing" happened. I can't tell you about it. Because I read about it from that time traveler who stopped by a couple years ago.
But apparently today is when it happens. I don't think any one realizes how important and life changing it was for a few years though. But when you look back, it's pretty clear that it all started today.

I kind of wish that I hadn't killed that guy and dumped that blue police box in abandoned quarry now. I could have "coerced" some more information out of him. Oh well, I got this nice screwdriver out of the deal at any rate.

I make it a policy to not consider it "tomorrow" until I sleep. This gets bizarre if I have to fly a red-eye and don't sleep on the plane. One day covers the span of up to 48 hours if that happens. Too bad that my attempts to add more hours to the day don't seem to be acknowledged. :)

Hee, I didn't even notice the date! Very cool. I've been trying to remind one of my friends who signed up to SCI to write an entry, but she hasn't been responding to my IMs! At least my other friend I convinced to sign up already has his entry in :D

This morning I got some detailed feedback about my music video. I was so excited this guy pointed out and appreciated Every Single Thing I deliberately chose to do in my editing, from choice footage, to where I decided to cut, and timing. He also only had a minor number of things for me to look at/fix, which I've done now. Hopefully that means they'll be able to release it later this month :D

I'm making my way through the entries, it's doubtful I will finish though. Dang headache :(

I got through all of tribe 1 and I have to say, if people aren't reading that tribe, you guys are seriously missing out. horosho, hammaboo and edincoat come to mind first of all, but I honestly was pretty impressed with most of those entries. Good stuff out there. It's the only tribe I have made it through, so I can't say much else :(

I haven't started the 2nd chance Idol entries yet....I will once the poll goes up. I like that they kind of swap. I can read one group at a time. I would probably get them mixed up if I didn't...

I need to get to bed soon. Like very soon.

Oh, I hadn't thought about the date beyond the fact that it is my soon-to-be-ex's birthday. And technically speaking, it's not 1/11/11 here for a few more hours anyway :P

I'm amused at Frontierville (on Facebook). One of the quests has the reward of a cute angel statue. When you mouse over the statue, it says "Blink and you're dead. They're that fast!"

Ah, here I am, starting my tomorrow, tonight!

Dentist appointment went well - except for the part that I now owe them $465 that I thought insurance was supposed to pick up. Ah well, now I know where a good chunk of my student bonus is going. One permanent crown, three fillings (we did everything on the left side of my mouth), which leaves only one more on the other side and some deep cleaning to treat my periodontal crap to go, which I'll probably always have some of. Small price to pay for taking the drugs that keep me alive (anticonvulsants can cause various teeth issues).

I still have annoying chores to do, like putting out trash and changing the cat box. :( More FWP whining. :P

In anticipation of Heap Big Snow starting tonight, I am sacrificing my cough and heavy chest to bake bread for the Anxious Public Who Believes They Will Starve.

They will be WAITING for the door to unlock at 7AM. Trust me. And they will then descend upon my poor department. And then I will have to explain that not everything will be ready right at 7AM because yeast cannot be programmed. They will not believe me.

Right now I'm fortifying myself with coffee and a bagel.

Been spending most of today watching the news about the devastating floods up in Queensland, Australia. Three-quarters of the state has been officially declared a disaster zone, and I'm pretty sure close to that amount is underwater right now. The heartbreaking thing is that it's supposed to get worse over the next few days.

C'mon, Mother Nature, I know you're probably pissed at us all, but give 'em a break, will you?
