To be honest, I don't like the break. I sort of feel all adrift and lacklustre. I'm much happier once there are weekly prompts up and running. 04summer_rain04 has also been missing writing stories too, so we're both ready and raring to go!

My break was pleasant, if all too short. Next month the hubby and I and a good friend of ours will be going to Vegas, so that's something to look forward to!

Made pancakes for brunch, finished cleaning the kitchen from our NYE party (all the food and stuff got done that night, but I needed to put away all the other stuff), cleaned the kitchen after making pancakes, and now I'm settling in to get some work done while watching the Bucs. I hope I can get this project done today because it will free up some of my schedule tomorrow.

I'm ready for the break to be over. Nervous, but ready. :)

My jump back into work is going to be more of a soft slide, I think... I tried to get the day off, as I have ZERO clients booked, but my boss was being end-of-the-semester stressed and told me she wanted me to come in. So, I'll come in and hang out on the internet all day. Whatevah. It will get super-busy not long after that, have no fear.

The thing the break reminded me of is how difficult it is for me to write with lots of people around. Come on back, school!

I am so ready for things to get back to normal. I've discovered that having a break is awesome, but when I've got no structure to my day I tend to do a lot of nothing instead of the things I thought I would. I'm hoping I'll actually be more productive after work than I have been not going to work.

Whether I'm ready for whatever evil Gary has planned for us, that's another story altogether!

Mornin' All... Hope 2011 is off to a rockin' start for everybody!!!

Last night, I played a lot of Wii with the lovely pixie117... 'twas a load of fun, it was. :-)

This morning we're waiting for more rain to come while I'm sipping coffee and Ms. Pixie is cookin' up some amazing peanut butter/banana French Toast... yummmmmmy!!!! It smells amazing. Can't wait to taste it.

The twists and turns coming up in Phase 2 are both scary and awesome. Oh I can't wait to get this started... I think. Maybe. I'll get back to you about that...

Hello my lovies. Got home from church a bit ago and boy has the temp dropped in a few hours. Or it sure feels like it.

It is raining crazily out there.

Several people have talked about food such as the peanut butter french toast that pixie117 made. And what is in that crock pot?

I am feeling a whole bunch better so the break was a good thing. Whatever Gary has up his sleve I will deal.

Haha I love cooking for people, it' a passion of mine. And peanut butter is my addiction, so peanut butter French toast is quickly becoming a favorite. Yum.

The crock pot was full of a giant pork loin that I was using to make BBQ puled pork sandwiches. I grew to love them while living in the South. I'm all about comfort and home style foods.
