Who puts a hand grenade inside the mouth of a lion anyway? That must be a really large lion to have multiple people being able to jump into the mouth.

My day is off to a nice enough start. Getting ready to start work in a bit. Got here early, because I spent the night not at home last night and got a ride with a friend who starts half an hour before me.

Not sure what else my day holds... Hopefully something nice.

Been feeling really happy, though. Life can be pretty beautiful and amazing.

I'm fairly certain that I'm setting myself up for certain doom by doing the topic. But, I figure, why not end the year in a bang, so to say. ;)

As for today, still working on the Project That Would Not Die (should have been an easy project, but I've ripped back four or five times now). I'd like to ship by Friday, but we'll see.

Also, tonight, going with my best friend and her daughter out for drinks. Well, my best friend and I are drinking in front of her until midnight, when Miss Kid turns 21 and we shall order a round of margaritas. :) Honored she's including me in what was originally going to be just her and her mom.

I wanted to write on this topic since I'm crazy like that and like taking chances. It's exciting to me. But I didn't have time to write last night, needed dinner and sleep instead after coming home from MO. I get home from work about 30 minutes before the deadline and Annabelle usually steals that time. So no time for me, which makes me sad since I'd take the chance otherwise. I love the mad adrenaline rush this game gives me :)

As I said, I just got home yesterday. The amazing java_fiend picked me up at the airport and we had dinner and hung out for a little bit before I crashed. I need a vacation from my vacation, but it's back to work today!

Got to pick the absolutely lovely pixie117 from the airport last night. And as a special treat, she brought some rain back with her from Missouri! Isn't she sweet???

Oh yeah, it's rainin' pretty good again here in So Cali. Except for the hassle on the freeways, I love the rain.

Still debating whether or not to take the hand grenade into the bear's cage and post something for the Topic of Potential Doom and Ruin. Not sure if I want to take the chance... but not sure I don't want to either. I'm so of two minds about it. :-)
