anamacha unfortunately missed the deadline, becoming the first of three contestants to be eliminated in "The Week The World Shifted"!

Well, ok, maybe not the world, but our little corner of it.

It's got people talking though, and figuring out what they want out of this, and how they do and do not want to play. More important than any of that though is that the fact that people are *talking to each other*. Whatever else you can say about the events of this week, it has shaken things up and started some conversations between people that hadn't had much to say to each other before!

*That* is a truly wonderful thing.

well that would be the question. In TAR what happens is that the teams have to partner with another team to complete challenges.

The closest thing I've been able to come up with for here, and that is only when we have a smaller *even* number is to have people pair up in groups of two and do some sort of shared/round robin entry. Not completely sure it's practical, which is why it hasn't shown up yet.

what is worse is that I checked before posting it and there was no post from him. One showed up AFTER though. But as of ten minutes after the deadline there was no link. So it might have actually been a last minute system glitch. But unfortunately that's why people need to make sure to have plenty of time to make *sure* they get in.

It's a shame though, I liked his posts.

thanks for the kudos. I was counting on the "normal" Friday deadline, which dovetailed nicely with my non-traditional work schedule. I have Tuesday and Wednesday off, see.

c'est la vie, I suppose. That's what I get for skimming posts at work and not noticing substantiative changes. And FWIW, I did get it in, only an hour or two late.

It's definitely got me thinking about these things.

I know that some of the things I thought about this when I started have subtly shifted, and some things haven't.

It's going to be intriguing seeing how things unfold.
