That being said, I also think rattsu would have been a wonderful winner as well :) So hard to see the votes come down to a total of FOUR between two people - two good friends! - and know both were wonderful writers with different, creative, informative styles.

I'm not sure what to say. My heart is still pounding from the last few minutes of that poll and I think I might have cried a little.

Can I just say hats off to rattsu? She is an amazing writer and formidable opponent, and her entry this week was awesome. The fact that the end vote was so close is a clear testament to how deserving she is, and I'm so pleased that I got to write next to her this week.
