argh!

the deadline got moved, and I was working on the assumption that it was still Friday. That worked out really well for my days off and such.

I know you posted the new deadline some time ago, but I just noticed it about an hour ago. I've been working on my entry ever since, and am in clean-up stages right now.

yeah -- the announcement was in teh same format as all the other ones, and no especial attention was brought to the change in deadline. I skimmed the article in question and I thought it was due Friday as usual.

So -- if you wanna include me in the poll, then no harm done. If you don't, well, I screwed up, and no harm done anyway.

Oh ... and part of the issue is that I often read while at work -- and I usually have to skim things there. Lack of time, etc. And I have odd days off (Tu and Wed).

Oh!! That stinks. But you might be able to come back in at a later point--and maybe popfiend could--and any of the others who are still lurking. Wait, why did Sakka leave? I hope it wasn't because of anything we said. . . . (That journal is friends-only, so I couldn't read the entry as to why.)

it was changed to shake things up, it will change again, at least once, maybe twice more before the season is done. It's been that way since season one, where people are caught flatfooted by the sudden change of the pace.

*I* tend to only mention the time once. Sometimes onxyblue1, because she's nice, tends remind people to get in their entries. Sometimes she has the time in her posts, sometimes not, depending on if she thinks about it. This time I guess she didn't. But those are just friendly reminders.

hmm. I don't recall anyone warning that this would happen, but it's nonetheless somewhat good toknow that it's a regular occurrence.
