That's the crazy, and wonderful, thing about all of this. Life happens to all of us during it. You've got to hold on when all you want to do is let go.

You've got to keep on writing even when you don't feel like it, when you'd rather just collapse somewhere.

These two have more than proven themselves, and completely deserve to be where they are at - and I hope they are planning on taking whatever it is that they were able to find during the process and apply it. (The market, life, wherever it is that they think that they can!)

In sad news, I just learned that Yet Another Co-Worker has put in her 2-week notice... *sigh* I've had FIFTY-NINE co-workers in my almost 10 years time on this team. When you consider that a full team is only 9 people (me, daBoss, and 7 social workers) that's a LOT of turnover (and quite a few bagels & muffins, too)!!

I'm stuck in the middle of more family drama, hopefully to be concluded tomorrow because I can't take much more of the complaining. I finished a lawsuit complaint against Home Depot yesterday, so I'm looking forward to getting that filed on Monday and off of my plate temporarily.

On the bright side, it is my son's name day :) We're not doing a big celebration, but I might find something to surprise him with (knowing him, a piece of chocolate!)

I can guarantee it's not going to start then. I'm pretty sure that I would need to "change my facebook status" if I did! :p

I am starting to map it out though. When it starts will depend on when I can get everything together and when I think the interest level is back up to the point where it can support another season. Season 6 has been *long* (the longest we will - barring something unexpected - ever have) and I hope that everyone who *does* want to see another season will be giving some love to the Final Two! After all, everyone would want that attention if it's them in a future season!!! :)

I'm hoping to write some adulatory passages, for sure. What an accomplishment!

Kind of up to the in-laws. They'll need to take a step or two back, and they're not very good at that. :)

My girlfriend and I just passed the 4 month mark of being together - yes, that's right, she's *never seen me when I'm NOT actively engaged in running Idol*. (needing to answer emails/nights when I'm not available at all/late nights putting out fires where I need to cancel plans) She's been VERY patiently (most of the time at least) waiting for the end of the season.

It's going to be interesting!!

Last weekend of Idol?!? I'm seriously sad! Especially since I won't be around much for the finals. The next season needs to hurry up and get here already :)

At least I'll be spending the last weekend of Idol with another Idoler. Road trip adventure from MO to CA starts tomorrow!

Yes, it is just damn awesome. I'm super excited about that. And once I get there, I get to meet up with morning_stand too, who is the reason I joined Idol in the first place.

Ahhh who needs rest. Certainly not you! :P

I will try to support them, it really isn't easy at the moment since I will be on the road from tomorrow on and without internet at my place next week.

I think both of them are so awesome and so happy to see them in the finals :)

I'm not sure if this has been addressed in previous FAQ's... but perhaps an entry about "What is meta?" would be helpful. As in both what the term means in general, and what it means in the context of Idol (as in posts talking about how the game is played, conversations within the GR, and the little introductions that people sometimes put on their posts). Because I did see that question come up multiple times this season.
