Let me start by saying that the 'n' key on my keyboard has a mind of it's own.  Management is not responsible for any missing or extra n's.

I get to post a Green Room!  Gary told me I could post one if, in return, I promised not to mass ban everyone.  So you're all safe.  For now.  ;-)

So, it's the weekend.  It's the Top 3.  How about that? Pretty sweet, if you ask me.

I was going to think of something wise and inspirational to point out, but Gary would probably come in and comment that it's all a secret ploy by me to get you all to send me bacon.  Which would be true. Now get on that, people.  I need bacon.

Actually, I'm going to have a bacon cheeseburger for dinner later.

No Pepsi though.  Trying to give that up.

So what's everyone got going on this weekend?  I've been off work since noon on Wednesday and I don't go back until Tuesday.  Just working on some stuff around the house, catching up on some dvr'd stuff and helping my niece and her son move into their apartment tomorrow.

I should link to various threads now...

So that's about it.  Have a great weekend, kids!

A bacon cheeseburger? That sounds tasty.

My weekend is pretty boring. Editing wiki stuff and how did this season finish so quickly?

Thirty-six weeks is totally NOT quickly, LOL!

I haven't been that active this season, so it feels like it! It doesn't feel quick for the top three, though.

It is, I find, a quiet and sleepy Saturday, even though I have worked for most of it.

Have I ever mentioned how much I dislike being a homeowner this very minute?

Now you know.

I've been hanging out online for most of today and doing laundry. I did manage to get out and pick up a Starbucks and do a little grocery shopping, but so far that's been the highlight of my day.

However, the hubby and I will be going out to dinner later on with [livejournal.com profile] minikin and her family to a new French bistro place downtown, so I'm looking forward to that!

Also, I posted some Home Game Haiku for the final topics. You can read them HERE (http://roina-arwen.livejournal.com/1471228.html).

No bacon cheese burgers for me. For some reason my taste buds have decided to not like any pork at all. Talk about a bummer. So much good pork out there.

Still in the Bay Area visiting my mom and helping her clean stuff out. She is going to have to move in the next several months but not sure when. So she wants to clear stuff out now so it is not as much of a chore later. So that is what I am doing today.

And it is beautiful outside. Just wow! I want to take this weather home with me. LOL!

Mmmm, bacon cheeseburger. That is a mighty tempting dinner idea.

As for Saturday I'm back in rehearsals (today is day one) and sitting in this room with flourescent lights all day when it's so pretty outside is breaking my heart.

What are you rehearsing for?

It's a production of the musical "The Light in the Piazza". It's a super short rehearsal period we've got 14 work days (after today) and then we're onstage.

My weekend is ehhhh

I want to be excited about my upcoming cross country move, but telling my family last night was a bit of a downer.

So instead of being productive, I sat around with my roomie, Amanda, and we ate cookie jar from the tub (yeah, I didn't know they had tubs of cookie dough either) and played with Moon Sand. Her and her guy went camping and I said it was too hot for that crap, so I have stayed home to continue playing with the awesome Moon Sand.

I even pulled out the Jello molds and made some gingerbread men to slice into pieces cuz it's fun :)

Dinner is undetermined. I ran out of cookie dough and need to stop making milkshakes a common dinner item...

Anyone worried about my sanity yet? :P

I'll worry about your sanity if it will make you feel better :)

Hmmm not sure if it makes me feel better or not. If I start posting photos of my decapitated gingerbread men, it might be sincere worry :P

I've just had an amazing Saturday! I got some free stuff off of Craigslist, met a new friend, hung a curtain, am working on finishing my unpacking (a month in the works), and am just very happy today. I love happy days!

Also, are there no other Idolers who are going to be going to Dragon Con in Atlanta, GA over Memorial Day Weekend? I am seriously hoping to meet up with anyone else who is going.

I really wish I could be at Dragon Con! I lived near Atlanta for several years and never made it. I might have considered it, but will be on the opposite side of the country instead.

I still hope I can make it to OddCon with the new job and stuff!

This is going to be my first con, and I'm geeked out. I feel bad going, since I don't have a job right now, and no money, and am borrowing from everyone just to make ends pretend to meet, but I already bought the plane ticket and con ticket when I still had a job and money, and I can't get my money back on those, and one of my roommates said she'd cover my part of the room (since I was smart enough to reserve a room while they were still able to be had back in December), and 4 other people told me I had to come and they are each covering my food for a day. So, I can't get souvenirs or anything (my D*C savings from the last two years went to rent and other bills last month), but I'll get to spend time with so many of my closest friends from all over the world!

Seriously, that is half the fun of D*C -- hanging out with people.

You should contact the volunteer coordinators though. You could put in some time and maybe get a refund of your membership (as well as a free one for the future).

You meet a whole bunch of neat people, and they always, ALWAYS, need volunteers.

I was going to go to D*C this year, but I opted for OddCon in October instead, since I was just going to work anyway (pretty much true for OddCon as well, but at least there I might see some benefits for working).

I have been too social this weekend; I want to turn back into a hermit again.

The book has been launched. Woo! Thank you, Sophie, for everything!

Last night, my husband and I had some closet geeks over for an evening of pizza, Settlers and Carcassonne. For all that I am not always in the mood to be social, I have to admit it was a lot of fun. Hopefully they will come out of the closet more often.

The lovely "16" celebrated her first birthday today (although it was actually earlier this week). I played photographer and got some wonderful pics of her and her brother "8" playing.

And now I am making a list of all the stuff I have to do before Friday when we finally sell our KY house. It is our last official tie to that state; all that'll be left will be the friends and family we love.

"Last night, my husband and I had some closet geeks over for an evening of pizza, Settlers and Carcassonne."

I am so jealous!!! Last night, I burned my frozen pizza that I'd been looking forward to all week! (I just moved into this apt, and still haven't gotten used to the oven - apparently 18 of the 18-21 minutes was about 3-4 minutes too many.) And those are two of my favorite games that I haven't had a chance to play in at least 3 years! I need to get my own copies, and get some more local friends for game night. Srsly.
