Happy Hump Day. How has your week been treating you so far?

It's funny, because every time lately that I've thought "oh, we don't need one today", I realize just how few Green Rooms we have left for until the door is shut and the room is closed for repainting/kithan needing to hose down the area to clean up! (Seriously people - the trash can is right over there!!) So hopefully we can make these last few times together good ones. :)

Can I vent here? I'm freaking out! In 2 days I'll be buying my dad's car off him. I've passed the whirl-wind stage with all the phone calls to various lenders and insurance companies, and now I'm to the whirl-wind stage where everything is coming into place.

Today's my last day in school and I made brownies (FROM SCRATCH! :D) for our "last day snack". Hopefully other people brought stuff, everyone seemed kinda "yeah... alright..." Either way, my brownies are going to be a hit! I added Ghirardelli chocolate chips to it, which are all melty in the center, SO GOOD.

I'm excited for the new car, but I'm also a little sad to be saying good-bye to mine. :( She's 17 years old, and I've owned her for 7 of those years. She's been a big consistent in my life of moving around and different phases in my life. I named her Genny off my grandma (Virginia) who gave her to me. *small silence*

Crazy range of emotions going on with me this week... Just crazy. XD *uses appropriate icon*

Got my new iMac last night! It is so swish :D Have spent the day transferring data and installing software. It's pretty damn sweet. Can't wait to start using it properly. I don't have much left to do now in order to have it set up how I want.

Today I got asked if I wanted to help shoot a doco... which would've been lovely, if only I wasn't so close to giving birth :( Hopefully there will be a next time! I was asked by one of my comedian/musician buddies and I know he's been posting videos online a lot for his band so chances are there will be a next time.

Yesterday I went to down to the local beach intent on power-walking the entire circuit (5 miles total). I made it halfway through before nearly passing out from heat exhaustion.

Good morning!

I had an awesome night last night. Went to see live music performed on a stage in a chop shop/silk-screening studio. It was such a strangely wonderful venue and the music was cool. There was an act that performed sort of chance music (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aleatoric_music), and there was a really fun quirky octet from Georgia called Quiet Hooves, and then my favorites Theodore Treehouse! I danced a ton and smiled lots and had good company throughout.

Also, started gauging my ears, and I'm at 10 gauge for the next few weeks. Exciting.

Today, I'm supposed to meet up with cheshire23 for lunch and stuff!

I wanted to gauge my ears to, like, 20 because fitting a normal earring in my ear hurt for years after they were pierced. I'm kinda glad I didn't, though, because eventually my ears relaxed. Gauging scares me! XD

Speaking of hosing rooms down today, I saw the weirdest thing today at the grocery-and-a-little-more. By the toy section, they had a kids' high pressure washer.

To me, that sounds a lot like having a kids' nail gun or something. I didn't look at it, though, maybe it didn't actually put out more pressure than an ordinary garden hose, so it was just cosmetic. Y'all know I don't give a rat's ass about child-proofing the world (http://quoting-mungo.livejournal.com/1973305.html), and in fact think it's ass-backwards and rather fucking stupid to strive to do so, but that doesn't mean you should give kids playthings they might hurt themselves on! I know when I played with the garden hose as a kid we drank from the nozzle, for instance.

This week is just... BLURGH. I keep thinking that in ~2 months, we'll be on a plane for our vacation. How sad is that? All I want to do is go on my vacation now.

I have nothing exciting to share today. I am still working overtime, and today I have to start a new project while the old project continues to stab me in the back. I'm exhausted and could use another vacation already...but honestly, I'm just glad to have the work. /work rant

Also, I have to go to the dentist today for a cleaning.

Slow day today. Yesterday was spent doing "administrative assistant" work from home. Seems school never sent in my kid's extended time request and documentation for her taking her ACT in September. The ACT people claimed my kid, Fuzzy1, wasn't registered! WTF. Took two hours to fix that mess.
Year is looking good w sunflowers, beans, corn and blueberries.

Some of College Kid's friends,(the local ones from here-Not Ohio U),are misbehaving, shall we say. I just hope my kid can keep out of it. Seeing her long time pals turn into Jersey Shore wannabes with bitch fights, cops, drinking, etc is so crappy. It's only funny on TV, folks. Not in RL.

I have an interview later this afternoon here in St. Louis. I am almost tired of interviews. Almost. It will be nice to finally have a job though!

I hear back from the Cali company either tomorrow or Friday most likely! *bites nails*

This will be a big move and I am starting to get *really* nervous.

Not much to report here, just making some lunch for the kids and I. I had some bad news yesterday. A friend who was due with her baby three days before me had some bleeding and when she got to the doctor she found out her baby had passed away. She has to deliver her baby girl as a stillborn this afternoon, so my heart is aching for her. I'm glad my little one is so active because that type of news makes any pregnant lady start to worry.
