Considering the polls are still open, it's a little early to start thinking about "next week". But I looked down into the vast empty place where a heart is normally kept, and I decided to give you 24 hours head start - and a nice surprise.

For those of the 7 remaining who want to work ahead, and think that they have a good shot at making it into the Top 5.


The Top 5 aka 5 for 5. AKA what I like to think of as a portfolio challenge.

Alright, I totally made that last part up. But it sounded better than bwaahahaahhahahahaha.

I told everyone early on that decisions they made in the competition would come back to them - and a lot of them have. A lot. But not all.

Here's where we change that.

Remember how you had 5 topics to pick from? It occurred during Weeks 4, 12 and 13.
For those who don't remember - the topics were:
Moments of Devastating Beauty

(*Current Events is the only topic with an explanation and a rule. Pick something out of a reasonably current online news source, I’d love to see local news, but it’s not a requirement. Give it your own twist, feelings, insight, whatever, to the story. Also provide a link to the original source material)
