Season Three, Week Nine, Voting

Wow! What a week!

Our fearless leader congenial host is incommunicado right now, so you're all in my capable hands for today. (If you haven't noticed, clauderainsrm generally writes the text for the polls, and I just paste it on to my code and post it. I don't *g* quite so much. Like, at all. Don't worry, this won't hurt.)

Unfortunately, eponine_b was unable to get her entry finished, so we will be saying goodbye to her. Hopefully she'll be able to play along on the home version, and come back next season.

Happily, however, everyone else posted an entry! I thought you all might have liked having a "real" vote enough to do it again!

We're going to have a double elimination again this week. eponine_b counts as one, so the one contestant with the lowest number of votes will be voted off this week. The polls will remain open until 2pm EST (GMT-4, still, I think?) on Monday, March 26, 2007.

Looks like I'm goin' down, with five. Oh, well. I suppose the entries weren't that entertaining. And this time, I took an unpopular stance regarding giving people the benefit of the doubt when reading tone into a post, so that adds to the problem. The Real LJ Idol should be someone who's popular, and I never have been popular at all, so it makes sense. I don't like to ask my friendslist to come over to vote--and most of them won't bother, as they don't do polls/memes and such; they read for other reasons. Also, if they don't vote for me because they don't want to, I think I'd rather not know. *grin*

We'll see if I rally at the end, but y'all have fun out there, and try to remember--it's better to give 'em the benefit of the doubt, because usually the Big Insults are unintentional.

I'm actually surprised that I didn't get any e-mails telling clauderainsrm and I that someone wanted to use their x-ray vision to find out what color panties dydan is wearing, or something like that.

And in case you're wondering, the window of opportunity is gone. It wouldn't be funny. Trust me.
