I'm slowly making my way through the entries. I actually spent time enjoying my weekend, which is a bit unusual for me. Also, I want to say thank you to the people who have left such kind words on my entries so far--this week in particular it has meant a lot to me.

This weekend I went to a barbecue in the park and had dinner with a dear friend and caught up on some tv viewing, mostly.

Today I am at work. I'm making my way through entries. I had a bagel for breakfast. I'm freaking out about impending Life Change. You know, the usual stuffs.

I am also going quietly insane. Being a kitten mommy got a whole lot harder on Saturday when Gizmo stopped producing solid waste. Now it's liquidy waste that was meant to be solid. And every time I turn around, it's on a new surface in my bathroom. So I've done quite a bit of laundry, quite a bit of scrubbing, and a little bit of tush-wiping, as well.

I suppose it's all par for the course and I've just conveniently forgotten what it's like to have a kitten. But she's just so *little* (the vet says she is actually 4 weeks old, not 5) and fragile that I haven't slept much in the past few days.

So I'm sleepwalking through my Monday and biting my fingers over the polls. Damn you, Gary, for switching the order! That may be my undoing.

Awwww. Poor little kitten. It is hard being a kitten mommy. When I had mine, I had to give them penicillin drops because they had such bad infections.

I'm having...a week. I got a call from our pediatrician this morning that sent me into a worry spin. Now I must cheer up and prepare for an afternoon of meetings.

In good news, I managed to prep all my veggies for the coming week yesterday, so dinners should be a snap. And I have a new project at work that gears up today - new projects are always fun!!

In other news, I really appreciate the support/love this week. It has not been my greatest week ever, and...yeah.

Weekend was nice, even if the weather was not. Had fun with College Kid and her new BF. Splurged and took 'em down to Newport On the Levee to have dinner with a skyline view. Fun times.
Finished my work day early today! Yay! Bummer it's still pouring rain, but it means I get to go visit LJ (Idol) Land, so I'll go with that!
Looking forward to the season finale of HOUSE MD tonight. Bet it's a cliff-hanger though...AW

I, too, am looking forward to House...but I hate season finale cliffhangers. :P

I'm also sad that Flashfoward is being cancelled, though I understand why. I only wish that ABC hadn't put half of its new shows on hiatus for 3-4 months... I think that killed some really good shows. :(

But just got back from a job interview that went well. I have a second interview on Thursday. It's for something completely random, but hey, I think I might like it more an a "real" job anyway. I will get to train dogs if I get it :)

Today's not bad so far... though I would much rather be home napping... or napping as much as the furry beast I cohabitate with allows me to nap.

Other than that... received a strange email last night that has me a bit... unsettled I suppose. For lack of a better word. I just can't figure out what the angle/game being played is. Not quite sure what to think about it yet.

Sorry you are so tired today. You think they would notice if you took a nap at your desk? I used to sleep at my internship all the time on my lunch breaks...but I was lucky enough to have my own office with a door. Mid-day naps should be implemented at work!

Weekend was hell. Back in the ER. My body is starting to shut down, and I'm still trying to fight it. It's a total mess which started in full Wednesday and lasted until - well, now. I have an emergency appt. with my neuro tomorrow, and maybe she'll say something helpful. I don't know. I'm losing complete faith in the medical community :(

Hope everyone had an awesome weekend, though, and a good week. And if someone wants to come to MD and get rid of this rain for me, I'd appreciate it!

I had some bad test results from the OB, so I have to go in tonight for a rather uncomfortable procedure. Hopefully we'll get good results because I'm already fretting about the baby.

In other news, I appear to have lost my entire ring of keys (I only have my car key and now my moms spare set for my house). I have NO idea where the stupid keys are. Similarly, I can't find some important work papers! Grrrrrr- my disorganization is out of control this week and it's only Monday.
