For those keeping track of these things at home, we are now at 73 (the situation from last week has been relatively resolved, and I am allowing them back into the game as of this week. Adjust your spreadsheets accordingly) some people look at that number and say "wow, that's a lot!" Others look at it in terms of where we started and go "Wow, that's hardly anyone!"

I look at it and go "OK. I'm ready to start Season 3 now!" :)

I screwed up my wrist yesterday and can barely type, so sorry for the lack of comments etc., today was supposed to be my reading day but I'm sick on top of it (and screwed up my wrist AFTER I went to the doc about it). Actually I can barely do anything.
This is a big problem for my job, obviously, but could also becoming one for my participation in Idol, so yeah, not too good of a day, really.

Anything cool? Eh, not really. But I did find a 7 year old journal this year and started reading it, and it's weird in some ways to discover that I'm coming full circle and concluding a cycle of sorts.

Also, I've been reading poetry. Good poetry, even. Good poetry is frakking amazing.

I said goodbye. I'm trying to think of a post for the new topic. I'm listening to CNN in the background.

Oh, and I really want a cookie, but have none. I may have to venture out for snacks and the like. Boo. Or yay. Maybe. Who knows.

nothing exciting. working. lots of dog baths to do (i work at a doggie daycare)... almost time to leave. watching my sister's kids tonight. probably a night filled with junk food and movies. which is fine. haven't looked at the topic yet. nervous about doing so. but i will in a bit.... don't you worry.
then i can roll it round my brain and figure out what to write about.
i'm tired. today was the last day of my meds (had a bacterial sinus infection.. that was fun.. had it for almost 3 months).
i feel 80% or so human now.
today is day 3 of a 9 day work week! tired. but still alive!

Weekend is good - I got through all of this past week's entry at like 12:59 EST; but at least I did it and cast a complete ballot! :D There were lots of awesome entries last week, I must say!

Today - it's our kittyversary (ie: we got the awesome Arthur cat one year ago today); so we've had extra kitty play time, which has been great!

And in 30 minutes or so, I'm going to see SHUTTER ISLAND -- can't wait!!! :D

Phew, I'm glad to see that I made it through another week. I'm not quite sure what I'm going to write about for this week's topic, but I'm sure I'll think of something.

I just had the hiccups, but I found this amazing hiccup cure and now they're gone. I was surprised it actually worked!

I have nothing too important to say, but I did take out The Lost Symbol from the library and it's okay so far. The writing's kind of (okay, very) terrible, but I'm sure it'll get amusing later on. And there's youth group tonight! Woot!

And I'm having breakfast for supper tonight. With lots and lots of bacon. :D

At rehearsal, but the fight choreographer is here today which is a lot more fun. So far we've been working with knives, slapping, crotch grabbing, fainting, and attacking someone with a chair - along with a variety of weapons.

Nothing to this tsunami thing. I can't believe how hyped up the national media got about this. We get one of these things once every couple of years and this is the first time I've ever seen the world getting this wigged out.

We're really one of the better prepared states in the country for this sort of thing. We had evacuation plans activated almost immediately, everyone knew what they needed to buy, and its been almost silent on the roads since about 11 HST due to a well enforced lockdown.

Basically, unless its an "instant tsunami" like the one that hit Indonesia, we're pretty darn safe.

Anyhow, the worst that happened was the water got a little choppy and a local golf course got flooded a little with stinky canal water.

We thank you all for your concern, but, for serious, if we have a few hours notice (like this time), we got this tsunami tshit covered. :D

Home from a long day teaching a crochet class. And as exhausted as I am right now I'm starting to get a bit nervous about teaching at conference this summer. I have 12 hours of classes to teach (two 3-hour classes and one 6-hour class). Holy crap. Add to that traveling and hanging out with all my crazy friends, I'm going to have to take two weeks off to recover. :(

Oh, and I got a rejection package for a submission that I thought I had in the bag (because they were holding it since October). Boo. So yeah, ready for it to be tomorrow now.
