I am happy for J. Alberson, cause he can rock the topic he wants. I'll admit I have nothing that comes to mind to contribute to the concept that I am willing to write as part of LJ Idol, but there are stories indeed and maybe one day you folks will read them.
For the other two subjects though. I could write a million trillion different essays.
I'm leaning towards survival after the apocalypse, cause I'm in the mood for a FEAR and Michael the Archangel vs. The Beast 666 in a hardcore falls count anywhere handicap match.
That could all change as I start writing though, but I look forward to reading this week, while last I didn't give a damn what anyone had to say, including myself.
I am looking forward to that movie. I dont know much about it (other than what I've seen in the previews) but I think it should be good. Yea for blood and guts!
Movie (http://300themovie.warnerbros.com/), based on the comic book by Frank Miller (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/300_(comic_book)), inspired by the movie The 300 Spartans (http://imdb.com/title/tt0055719/), based on the battle of Thermopylae. Phew.
LJ Idol is into my head enough that when I woke suddenly from a strange dream last night, my mostly asleep train of thought ended up at "I should write my entry for this week about that."
One of our "fans" (and old and dear friend of mine)who is "playing the home game" (she didn't want to sign up, but she's been writing the topics every week) is having a Friending Frenzy, so if you could go over and poke your head in, that would be great:
I know her from the ADPRG gaming community -- we've gamed online together on and off for a while, although we aren't currently in any of the same games. Not sure if I'll be getting to see her at a con this year. *fingers crossed*
I know this is the Green Room from last week, but I just wanted to post and say that I really enjoyed everyone's posts this week, especially the posts that handled "the end of civilization".
That, and I'm in my school's main library on a Saturday afternoon and I'm procrastinating bored.

Date: 2007-03-05 09:38 pm (UTC)Basically it's the story of the Spartan king Leonidas and how he lead the 300 Spartan soldiers to...oh well, I won't spoil it for you.
My History of Greece and Rome prof wants us to go see it as a class next week. At least, he's thinking about it.
Thermopylae!
