What do you mean the season started last week? Oh damn, I must be stuck in a time loop again. I guess when I get back to last week I will backtrack and make a Green Room post about it.

It sure was nice to meet the Winner of Season 7 yesterday. We had lunch at the. . . wait - that's in your future. Time travel is hard. All I have to say is watch out for the android invasion. That really threw things for a loop in Idol for quite a bit. They ripped through a bunch of Season 6ers before they were stopped. Apparently a glass of water works on alien invasions *and* androids!

Kinda nervous about getting snowed in at work today. The forecast went down to 4-6" but it WAS around 10 at one point and I don't want to get stuck. I live nearly 1hr away from work, and I have a dog I need to get back home to. I CAN'T get stuck. :\

Other than that! Going to start reading today or tonight when I get home. I think I'm going to be pretty busy all day, though, so CYA TONIGHT! :D

Good morning.

Today I go to two public libraries, a craft store, have lunch with my mom, manage to not to strangle my co-worker, come home and finish the last 3 pages of a scrapbook while doing laundry so I can pack.

Morning!

Today I hope to finish more computer work (writing a proposal, preparing to teach a class this weekend, order printed copies of my patterns, and pay some bills). My wrist feels better, but I'd like to give it one more day before I get back to crocheting.

Our animals are confused because there are two tables in the living room now. We went to IKEA last night and got a Lack side table and coffee table because John plans to hack them into server racks. Cheap and much better looking!

I still have so much to read. I feel kinda bad that I'm mostly sticking to the writers I'm most familiar with to start with because I don't know if I'll be able to read everything before the deadline, but at least I am reading a few I'm not familiar with, too. There's definitely some great stuff out there this week. I know I've already commented on two entries saying they're the best entries I've seen of theirs this season, which I think is pretty positive.

In more focusing on me, but just me news, my new FULL passport is ready for collection, and just in time, too, because I need to have my Malaysian visa stamped in it by Friday. I was not expecting it this early, and it saves me an extra trip to the immigration office, so that is of a lot of yay. :D

Good luck, it looks like the end of the world over there. That area just isn't prepared to deal with that kind of snow. What happened to global warming?

It's snowing where I am too, and supposed to keep at it for a day or two. But... I'm in Switzerland where the only things done better than dealing with snow is building secret bunkers, making cheese and selling chocolate.

Hooray LOST! That's on my agenda for tonight. Also on the agenda is to finish reading all of the posts for this week. I've been making progress and not commenting as much as I would like. But I'd rather read all and comment less than comment more and read less.

Otherwise... another day another dollar. Have a staff meeting this morning that promises to be dull and annoying.

Counting down the days until I go on vacation! Can't wait for Saturday to get here. (:

Although I am getting a little jealous that people south of me keep getting all of the snow. As it was, I was jealous of the people north to me in the beginning of winter. Now the southerners, too?! WHERE IS MY SNOW?

Oy... rough night filled with lots of nasty dreams. Apparently at one point, my thrashing about made the feline decide that I needed to wake up and so, he jammed his claws into my lips.

In case you were wondering, that is not the most pleasant ways of waking up. I think I would have preferred to have been stuck in the nightmares. lol...

I am sleepy b/c I had a three-hour, somewhat awkward conversation with the significant other about "future commitment". AGGGGH@!#!@$#%!@, I don't think any topic makes me hyperventilate harder. But it was a good thing. It made me be honest with myself about where my life is at and where I want it go. Unfortunately there are things I thought about after getting off the phone at 2:00 am that need to be worked out.

Relationships = not my forte.

I, for one, look forward to greeting my robotic overlords. If Futurama has taught me anything, it is my intent to move to New Orleans and drink away with them.

I feel like such a wuss compared to the northern competitors. It's 44* outside but the wind chill makes it feel like 35*. I am such a Gulf Coaster - I was in my boots, pants, long-sleeved T, scarf, North Face beanie cap, big wool coat, high-tech running gloves... Normal work day, nice and quiet, lunch plans (yay)with a dear friend I haven't seen in months! I'm with cobycaroline on the weather. We're at a balmy 50 and sunny, no white stuff in sight. Pelt me with snowballs if you like...but they'll melt...

We are getting rain. Need that anyway but it does make getting around a bit harder in my case because I need to drag boxes in and out of the house. We are doing some cleaning hense the whole boxes thing. Ah well, it will get done whenever possible.
