Yesterday, before the Super Bowl Party at my mom's house, I got a deep tissue massage and muscle therapy session along with a bit of cranial work from my masseuse friend of mine who had just recently moved back from Florida.

I feel much like a truck ran me over, but it feels SO GOOD... She managed to release a TON of tension. And not a day too soon, too, because I have a LOAD more heavy lifting to do this week! :D

GoGo Indianapolis! I think they did well, regardless... although I missed most of the 3rd quarter and all of the 4th because I was driving home from my mom's house.

Commercials sucked. I only really liked the first Doritos one with the dog collar. That was HILARIOUS.

Aaaaand I'm spent.

Everything is insanely busy, but I'm not quite sure I disapprove. Friday is the only day this week I don't have a specific thing planned (and today if "do reading for Wednesday's lecture" doesn't count as a specific thing planned).

Week: Busy. 2 exams. And will end with a work event of my husband's to attend. Oh well.

I think Monday's should be boycotted. Just got a call from John asking me to look where his car was in the driveway next time I'm outside because he thinks he might have a new and interesting leak in the car. Grrr. Hopefully he gets a call back today about a much better job that he was contacted about on Friday.

Me? I'm doing paperwork all week because my wrist is boycotting doing any crocheting. Which stinks, but I'd rather rest it now because I know of at least one large project coming my way soon. And I've got to teach a workshop this weekend, so I need to be able to crochet for that. *sigh* At least it will give me a chance to finish reading Idol entries today.

Still work here - the site has to be done by Friday (French version) and I was aiming to get the Dutch and English versions up by then too, but that's out of my hands anyway, especially since they keep changing things last minute and adding work to my ever-growing pile. I'm hired and paid as part-time worker, not full time, yet it's what I've been doing. I know that by the time this is over that I'll work less than part time for the same pay but it still sucks - and they better keep their word!

Tomorrow I'm going to see my sister & godson to help her out with some work and then we're going to see the dinosaurs at the natural sciences museum since my 2y old has a thing for dinos lately, so why not show them real size ;)

AND my good friend from uni is back in Belgium after living in Dubai for a couple of years :)

I had a great weekend in Kuching, even though immigration almost deported us when we got there since we hadn't reported to the central immigration office in Malaysia after our passports were stolen last month. Oops. Luckily we were only going for two days, and the supervising immigration official was in a good mood, so they let us in. Now we really have to go see the right officials tomorrow morning because my husband is off to the US tomorrow, and our expiry date for sorting out this issue is the 14th - before we're due to get our full replacement passports. Damn, why do they have to make this so complicated?

But I ignored thinking about all that today and tried to catch up on some Idol entries that were posted while I was gone. Damn, you all were busy!

My weekend was alright. Not as productive as I'd have liked. But, I did finish my FAFSA, so that's one thing of awesome. My week... well, hopefully it goes by quickly. I am counting down to vacation!

Weekend = awesome. Being back at work this morning = suck. Still hunting for a new job; I knew something was going to be posted here in my department and thought I might go for it, but it's 5K less a year than I make now. No can do. Argh.

However, there are Valentines Day cupcakes in the workroom that the boss brought in. Is it any wonder I gained weight working here???

Today I am in Mississippi for an interview at the University of Southern Mississippi. Hattiesburg is a nice little city, and only an hour from New Orleans, too! (Who dat?)

I'm on a doctor ordered week of rest at home because of some pregnancy issues and I'm finding that doing nothing is actually REALLY EFFING HARD.

My house is still in the midst of remodeling. Finally, ALL the power works. Next up: new kitchen floor (is about 2/3 done) and more painting and a new fridge and stove. Yay!

I'm all for skipping right to Friday. Well, okay - maybe Thursday, because I've got bowling Thursday evenings and I enjoy bowling! I did well this past week - got a 129 and a 137, w00t.

Weekend = relaxing. Didn't do much except for laundry and watching TV and reading and Facebook.

Weekend: Good. I was lazy, had fun at the Mardi Gras Pet Parade with my giant beast of a dog (who is still a a puppy) who got tons of attention. Though now I think the poor pup has a bladder infection. She's also got a limp, so may be shelling out some cash for the vet soon.

Monday: Horrible so far :( My supervisor is in Mexico this week and left me an email saying I'm still not getting something right. I have no idea what I did wrong and have to wait until next week to find out. It's a *great* feeling to feel like a failure first thing Monday morning. Being an Aspie academic in a mostly administrative job is so frustrating sometimes. I don't get things as easily as others. I want to go back to school already and I've only been here a month...

But things will get better, they always do somehow :)
