Pretty well. I'm currently trying to work a little while my daughter and my godson are playing happily together (okay well they are throwing stuff in the same direction and teaching each other obnoxious noises) =D

Edit: and I just found out one of the film my employer invested in is nominated at the Oscars, yay!

Last night I filed my taxes. Huzzah. So that's one thing off my to-do list. Also sent off my application to go back to school, yesterday. Got a little to-do list for today, which may not get completed due to the fannish obsession that will consume me this evening.

Been bopping around to the sounds of my friends' band Theodore Treehouse. They make me happy.

I still can't wait to read Idol Musings for myself! Once I get my copy, if people want to share, I would love to know "who is who," ie, match up screen names with author names.

I'm really enjoying the entries for this week. It's really neat to see how people fit their entries together with their partners.

One of my favorite parts about Idol is there are so many different perspectives here. You all give me a lot to think about as I go through my day. So thanks to all of you, for sharing yourselves with the rest of us.

I am missing LOST for class. I can't stress how big a deal this is. I have been watching LOST since like the sixth episode of the first season. I watched it through all the horrible seasons when they had sucky writers. I used to liveblog it. It is the ONE show I would have considered not taking class for and it sort of ripped me to shreds to do it but I consider this a big personal improvement.

Also, I got DVR. So I will be watching LOST at 9:45 instead of with the rest of y'all.

This is why DVR is the best. I would have never been able to keep up with shows like Lost, but the DVR makes everything ok. On the bright side, by the time you tune in, you'll be able to fast forward through all of the commercials :)

I'm thinking of ordering an Idol Musings once I get my tax return.

I've never watched Lost. By the time my friends told me I should, I considered myself too late to catch up.

I did like last week's season premiere of Psych. I was lukewarm to it last season, but this episode was a lot better. I liked the twists and turns, and especially liked the fact that Shawn didn't figure out everything.

I turned Psych off when I saw an episode where the murder mystery not only wasn't a mystery, but also was just a frame for Shawn's personal and romantic problems. I watch the show for the goofy character and the mystery. I get my romantic detective fix from Bones.

Psych is just a fun show - it's one of those that you HAVE to watch the opening credits for, because sometimes they change it up!

Misfits (which is about a group of delinquents who gets superpowers)

Being Human (which is about a vampire, a werewolf and a ghost that shares a house)

Trust brits to take silly premises and turn them into something realistic and awesome.

Still no work for me to do at work, so I'm holed up at my mom's house with the kids, getting ready for my afternoon job of watching my siblings.

I'm SO exhausted lately and I have no reason for it, except that I may be depressed by my finances. Does anyone else feel intolerably tired when they're upset? It comes at a bad time, since we're taking our biggest vacation ever in two months- a Transatlantic cruise followed by a week in London. This is something we've been planning for years, and (of course) it's quickly approaching as I have NO WORK to pay my bills. *sigh*

Enough of the venting. I AM looking forward to Lost tonight! The DVR is set and ready to go :)

Happy Tuesday All! I'm glad that PETA (as much as I love a lot of what they do) didn't ruin Punxsutawney Phil's moment in the sun today.

Happy Lost Day to all who celebrate it... I loved the first couple of seasons and then basically forgot to keep watching... happens with a lot of television shows in my life. Duh.

Cut the hell out of my tongue last night... don't ask me how but this friggin' hurts... I never realized how much I use my tongue in normal, everyday life. Bleh!

Woohoo for Tuesdays! We're supposed to get some sort of snow/ice today and then again this weekend - blargh.
