Or hello again to the weekend for everyone actually out living their lives. *rolls eyes* I think this "life" thing is pretty overrated personally. You should have been online clicking for updates man, updates!!! How else are you going to know the latest celebrity hair mishap!!!

Well, I *was* going to go get my hair done, but life as we know it has pretty much shut down around here due to snow and ice. Oh well, a weekend at home...

I've done a lot of cleaning.

I'm trying to wander along through the Canterbury Tales, writing a researched essay.

I spent 2 hours yesterday stranded by the road in a broken down van (mine) Not a good thing. Hands and feet were very cold.

I did a lot of cleaning today... I had planned to tackle most of the house (has been neglected for about a week), but ended up doing some super-deep-cleaning action, which meant I really only finished one room so far, before we took off for a movie. I'm thinking I should do a bit more tonight, but, it's the middle weekend evening, so, hard to find the motivation... I clean better when the sun is up.

I'm about to go sit outside in 4 inches of snow (which is still coming down, mind you) in my wedding dress. Long story, but dammit, it's going to freeze my (non-existent) balls off to do this...

Other than that, I'm still reading entries, trying to comment, and, as usual, focusing on stayin' alive (insert dance moves HERE).

Had some snow today and took the little one out in it (pictures on my LJ!) which was the hit of the day. Been working a bit in between mindless net browsing - the day seems to have gotten away completely without me noticing. Just like my 'v' key, it's totally broken and a PITA. Anyone know something about key repairs?

Finally found some local moms to do things with, so I'm excited! And on Monday my mom is coming and I'm possibly going to see my godson on Tuesday :)

But the most insane thing of all ... I got my entry in more than two days before the deadline ... aren't you proud?!

Hubby went out and shoveled 5" of snow off of the entire driveway - phew!

We have like at least 6 inches of snow here, probably a little more. My friends are having a huge snowball fight at our old high school, but I'm trapped on the other side of town. To make matters worse, I didn't wear warm clothes when I came over here last night so I can't go play in the snow :(

I watched the series finale of Dollhouse last night, and I am seriously annoyed that it was a part II, where the part I was a "lost episode" never aired on tv, but available on the first season dvd.

I'm assuming "active architecture" was a reference to that show :P

Other than that, I'm just tidying up the house, and perusing entries :)

I was a bit surprised by that. I thought maybe they would finally air the episode beforehand.

Unless of course they just said screw it, we're not getting any new viewers anyway,and did the finale the way they wanted to in order to finish the story, figuring it gave people one more reason to go out and get the dvd.

I'm just glad that I got it for Christmas so I was left going "huh?"

Umm... What the hell am I doing? I don't even know!

Been reading some entries here and there... commenting when I feel like I have something to say other than just "I liked it". (Sometimes I wish LJ had the "like" button like Facebook, because it's awfully convenient).

Last night I went to a party and a few of my co-workers were there. It was kind of funny to see them outside of work. Also met some fun new people, too. Most of all, once again I was in an unfamiliar social situation and I managed successful interaction with multiple people.

Snowed in here in Charlotte. Our sidewalk and driveway are pretty much sheets of ice with a little dusting of snow on top. Am upset that it means not being ables to see a couple of our favorite duos cause the music show was cancelled. Seems like one of them is still playing elsewhere tonight but not going to brave it.

I've finished my entry and waiting on java_fiend before posting it. Already got his stamp of approval for it though!

Today so far I have sorted through a couple of boxes from storage, finished my entry, and taken a nap while cuddling with the cat. I was going to read or work on a cross stitch project but both require kicking the cat off my lap (and arms).

It's a long weekend here (Auckland anniversary) and we have no plans. I was going to go to the Folk Festival but in the aftermath of my daughter's accident, I'm feeling inclined to put my feet up, cuddle her lots and chill. Plus I think I'm coming down with a bit of a cold, just when summer has finally arrived.

I have completely lost track of when the deadline is for Idol this week - a day in hospital has thrown my sense of time totally out of whack, particularly with Monday being another weekend day. But oberonia has posted her entry and it's fabulous, so all in all, things could be a lot worse.

adpaz and I got our entries done last night, and posted them this morning. Went out to lunch and looked to see if two booklets I'm in were able to be spotted "in the wild" (they weren't), came home, and I crashed on the sofa while John went to play in the garage with his motorcycle stuff. He's all excited 'cause he's learning how to do braising on the newer tank he's creating. He learned to do MIG welding on the bike build, so it's cool. It's been rainy and icky here so I've just been snoozing.
