Last night I rediscovered the joy that is, regardless of the horrible things that might be going on in your day to day life, seeing your enemies make asses out of themselves.

There is just something satisfying deep down inside about that. :)

(Probably because I get to make an ass out of myself all the time, but seeing other people do it, especially people that I don't like, gives a little something to help get you through the night. :p)

I have read everyone up-to-date as of 11pm last night. About to go check and see if anything new has dropped. :) There was also no Home Game entries when I looked last night so I'll check again...

Thanks everyone for all the feedback I've been getting so far. I love to hear what people think about what I write. :)

Yesterday at work was busy as hell, but today we get my coworker back so it shouldn't be bad at all. I just have a pile of about 200 cases that I need to file before they need to be pulled and matched up to be sent to Dayton... because 50% of our case load is now being shipped out.

As of February 2nd, this place will be a ghost town. Not looking forward. :(

Yeah, my job has slowed down considerably as well. I lost a lot of my payable hours and I'm afraid we may have a layoff soon. It sucks because for once I really love where I'm working and like all of my coworkers.

Well, it was 60 degrees on Monday and now it's snowing. *sigh*
I couldn't sleep last night (stupid insomnia) so we're running very late this morning. Speaking of which, I have to stop posting and get out of the house.

Team Superhappyboo is going well. We agreed to a theme and he has his entry already in, way to go people who are fast writers! Not me, maybe today or maybe tomorrow for me to post something.

I will concur watching enemies, or I don't have enemies, but people I don't like or who have being mean to me in some way, watching them fail or make fools of themselves is very entertaining!

My partner, DrJeff, is great. We got our linked entries out the very day after the topic. So working with him is/was great:) I wonder if we keep our partners for the next set of entries?

Life is crazy, I have 3 little kids and a dog always needing to be fed and cleaned up after.

And then I am in college, trying hard to work on an essay. The prof wants 5 sources but finding them has NOT been easy. The hunt continues today. Somewhere, out there, there HAS to be sources available on this material!

I'm taking World Literature I, World Literature II and Journalism I.

Today I have class, we have to discuss Jonathan Swift's a modest proposal where he jokingly suggests people eat children.

Talking about eating kids makes me mad as heck, I wonder what the prof will bring up for discussion. Just reading the piece was too hard. I have kids, come on!!!

Good morning! Today I'm going to see if I can manage to not spill my coffee all over my desk and my work. If I'm spending money on the stuff, I'd prefer that it end up in my mouth.

Got my post finished! Need to unprivate it and link it up--but it's ready and that feels good. Collaborating with my partner has been a lot of fun. She's a good person to work with. I'm really excited to see her post. :)

It's snowing here today. I still think it's kind of weird when NYers use umbrellas in the snow.

It is snowing like crazy, as Destiny said, and I just had to dry my hair out with paper towels in the bathroom! Walking to work took twice as long as usual.

I have a meeting this morning and then lots of work to get done to sell Valentines!

I love my job!

My entry is finished but I need to scan it and then I will post it later today. Destiny is the best partner ever! I think we worked well together. Also, I called tha cable company and DVR is way cheaper than I thought so I am getting a DVR box today!

Yeah, my hair got all wet again and then my growing-out-bangs dried funny. C'est la via. It was slippery, too! When I got out of the subway I was sliding all over.

My partner and I have emailed a few times, but nothing lately. I think we're going to run our entries past each other when they are written (I have an idea for mine, but nothing solid as yet), but I doubt they will actually tie in together.

I've got bowling tonight, and I'm hoping to do better this week than last week - last week I couldn't even break 100, which is very frustrating, since I usually do better than that.

Partnership is going pretty well for me; I just came up with an idea and am just waiting to brainstorm a bit more with my partner before I start writing. I ended up choosing the topic I thought for sure I wouldn't pick, so that was interesting.

I am not overly looking forward to the day. Schools are closed due to a storm coming in. It's still just raining right now, but it's supposed to start freezing sometime soon, and then the snow's supposed to come and then we're supposed to be stuck here for about 4 days.

I think I'm going to try to make it out to the PO before it starts freezing!

Oh and partnering is interesting. I don't think our stories are going to be overly connected. I think my tip guy is going to cameo in her story, but that's about it. These next few days should be great source material for my story.

Not playing the home game this week - really due to real life functions....our friend's staying with us until Sunday..and then we start a new job Monday (it's a short term gig that's only going to last 2-4 weeks). Of course I'm feeling like I'm not going to get everything done...

Plus it's been hell week - Carrie's had to deal with someone that's literally on the verge of having a psychotic breakdown...and it was quite scary for all of us...so we're dealing with that.

Our entries are more or less done and I'm quite pleased with them, but I'm filibustering, which is a considerable issue.
