So, I am doing better today. Almost done with the second to last chapter of my book, and I might have an idea for an entry. Also, we have a snowstorm, which is awesome.

I watched The Hurt Locker last night, and I have to say it was amazing. It is not one of those over hyped movies.

I was doing some computer work when it started, stuff that had to be done by today. But the movie was too good, I didn't want to miss any of it, so i put the computer away and got up early to do my work this morning.

My entry is mostly written, waiting on my lovely partner's entry and then I have a bit of editing to do to mine.

Other than that, I need to go out to the bank and the post office today. I'm going to try to go see my friend and her baby (my birthday twin) today if she's available. I designed a baby blanket for him and I need a picture with him and the blanket for the pattern ('cause cute baby pictures sell patterns). If she's not available today, then I've got three patterns to write today.

Good morning! I've got my hot beverage and scone, so I'm feeling pretty good. Other than the lingering cold/allergies. Ready for those to be gone.

And I've been working on my entry! So that's good. Hopefully I can do my buddy proud. :)

Also, last night, I re-watched the season 5 finale of Lost and I'm SO FRAKKING EXCITED about next week.

I had my first comics class with Matt Madden, whom wiseosiris mentioned in an early post. It was pretty sweet. I have homework! I know that is probably not exciting to those of you who are either in school or have jobs with take-home work but I really love being challenged to do things I wouldn't have come up with on my own.

We got our entries done yesterday. I think there were approximately 200 emails exchanged, because we wanted to truly collaborate. drippedonpaper is good, and fast, and that was a lot of fun! I'm a little wary of the end result solely because it's so different.

Good stuff - took one of my favorite self-portraits ever yesterday, LJ Idol entry done, my kids are back until Saturday night, and the tax refund deposit is CLOSE.

Other than that, GET ME OUT OF HERE. I continue to have an icky pain week and would mostly just like to be curled up in bed on a heating pad.
