Today my sinuses have decided to revolt against me. What fun!

Also, I'd been frantically refreshing all morning in hopes of a Green Room! I was worried I wouldn't be able to waste time all day by engaging in random frivolous conversation. It was a procrastinator's nightmare!

adpaz and I are partnered together, and I've got a couple of ideas about what I might write about.

Right now I'm enjoying a yummy lunch of Tuna Piccata Pasta Salad (http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Tuna-Piccata-Pasta-Salad/Detail.aspx) that I fixed yesterday. Mmmmm. Light, yummy, and already made...perfect for lunch! Then I've got to get right back into the studio and finish up stuff for sending out for submissions. Busy day here, but I wanted to pop in and say hi while I'm eating lunch.

The babies thing can possibly be explained by the restrictions US women face in diet when pregnant. I was flabbergasted at everything women weren't supposed to eat in the US. Then again, it might also have to do with simple evolution - the fact that women just can't keep birthing *bigger* babies ... so perhaps they're getting smaller?


The second ... I don't agree France is being racist. They're pretty peculiar in their secularity, yes, but this is entirely in line with the foundations of the Republic. I'm not sure this is going to help women's rights, but fact is that in the name of being political correct Muslim women's rights are being forgotten. *Something* has to be done, and personally, I also think that burqa's and niqab's are dangerous for security like was explained yesterday. In some parts of the country burqa's are forbidden here too. I mean burqa's are a symbol of women's repression, especially in Afghanistan. And the ban actually goes for everything that covers the face, so also for shawls etc. Same with not wearing religious symbols ... France is a particular country for this.

Ooof, root canals I would not wish on anyone. I had one done a few years ago. My gum was still inflamed, and I couldn't figure out why. A couple of weeks later, my dentist told me he had to cut out some of the gum so I might've experienced some pain and tenderness.

I don't know if anyone is still keeping up with it, but my godson from Haiti landed in Belgium yesterday, he's doing great, I visited him and he was a bit shy, so was my daughter, but then they connected and we saw a happy little boy playing with my daughter like he had been part of the family forever. It was pretty awesome =)
