Sitting in my Secret Ice Lair(tm) this morning I started wondering what would happen if I let my trained yetis compete in Idol next season?

This time, of course, all the Yetis involved are completely untrained or rather self trained.

But having the ones that I have guarding my mountain passes, devouring passersby and of course Trespassers Williams.

Well they don't have them in yet - but knowing that there are trained Yetis roaming around *might* be an incentive for other people do to it!

I'm feeling grumpy because one of the managers at work is being a raging dillhole. He's not even currently *my* supervisor. But, he came on over, told me what to do, and when *my* supervisor (who has the same job title as him) spoke up and said that we had other shit to take care of... he dismissed her. He's such an ass.

I wish I had a trained yeti to kick him in the nads.

Have I mentioned that I'm overworked at the moment and have been dealing with insomnia recently? Yeah.

Where does one get a Secret Ice Lair anyway??? You can keep the Yetis though... scraping out the catbox is bad enough, I can't even imagine what cleaning up after a Yeti would be like. Unless of course you could toilet train them... but that might be disturbing in and of itself.

The Yetis in my brain are still hammering away but still haven't produced anything I'm happy with for this week's topic... I may have to take my last bye. Not quite sure just yet.

Well, there is a controversy right now over whether the court case over Prop 8 in California should be televised.

Well, the inevitable at work is starting to come to fruition. They're consolidating departments, the company doesn't want to lay off anybody, so they're trying to fit all the displaced into existing departments, which means they're pushing out the part-time help that have been there since Day 1. The part-timers in my department were told their hours are being slashed to the bone. My manager's job is iffy. I'm OK for right now, but who knows what will happen down the line.

My ice lair is nice and cozy today, it's a whopping +4°C outside! Woot!

I am wondering if all of these yetis might be willing to go to the airport and yak on the baggage handlers who are on strike, and as a result we STILL DON'T HAVE OUR LUGGAGE from Monday morning's flight. I'm even willing to go to the airport and pick it up myself, but there are mountains of bags to be logged and it could be a WEEK still before we get our stuff.
