I'm pretty sure it must be. It's just someone forgot to tell the rest of us.

So I'm sure there's quite a few folks who are glad they still have a couple of days!

It was posted in the comments yesterday, but this is one of those things that I want to make sure people know about.

The resource site: www.ljidol.info has set up a "Friends of Idol" section. It's one of the times when I've made a direct suggestion for the site, which means that it needs to become everyone's favorite feature! ;)

What is it? A lot of current (and former) contestants have creative projects out there. Several of you have books or have a side craft business.
Not pointing any fingers here, but maybe you write for a publication and your articles are available online.
Send them a link to this stuff so they can post it on the site.
Maybe it will give you a couple more hits. Some of you might get some sales out of it.

I can't really do that sort of thing *here*. It's not what I do.

Over there though? By offering links to sites we like? Idol helping the people who come out week after week for us? Yeah, I like that idea.

I finally got an idea for my post this week! I don't know if it's a good idea, but at least it's something!

I've been at work for over an hour already today. Hubby had to go to traffic court and wanted to get online early so he dropped me off at 7:00. Ugh! Zzz... they're supposed to throw out the ticket though (it was for registration and inspection, which he has since done and brought proof) so it will be worth it.

I'm upright, not awake. Stayed up way too late last night watching my laptop upgrade to Windows 7 (which, since my fiance is a Unix SysAdmin, that's a big deal that *he* bought the upgrade pack). So this morning is being spent trying to figure out what the hell is going on with my computer.

Then I need to get off my arse and get some work done. Got another project in that needs to go out in a week or so. Oh, and I need to do laundry since I didn't do it yesterday.

I'm awake, I'm awake! Already done my first shift of the day. Now I have to run to the kid's school and pick up the midterm grades 'cause he's still home sick. (Just can't seem to get his fever to stay down.) Next to get the stew beef in the slow cooker.

Wednesday's the highlight of the week in this house. I've got chorus rehearsal, the hubby's got band rehearsal, and the kid loves having the house (and the X-box) to himself all evening.

Actually it'll be an odd day...

San Francisco Bay Bridge had to suddenly close down last night - cable broke from the emergency repairs they did last month, so it'll be a longer than normal commute to work today.

I'm just happy that wifi's workong on the company shuttle (the shuttle's free, just gonna take longer to get in)

I'm getting a faint feeling of an idea for this project, but it's ...eh. =/

I'm reading Twilight. My friends have said that I remind them of Bella. I really hope not. The Twilight movie is horrible, btw. I was trying to figure out why it was so horrible because the story itself, while isn't Shakespeare, is entertaining enough and then I realized it was the directing. That soundtrack? Ugh. Horrible. And the weird spinning around the characters along with the cheesy poses they're supposed to make? Yeah, dumb. I couldn't make it through. And I don't see where people are like "Oh Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson have soooo much chemistry!!" I just don't see it. /end tangent

So, it turns out that if I catch a train that leaves 15 minutes earlier, I end up at work at exactly the same time, due to the fact that the bus leaves one minute before my train arrives and then I wait for the bus I always take. Sweet. :)

And, I'm awake, having slept wonderfully last night for the first time in a couple of days. Must be getting that entry done that did it. :)
