ETA: Do we WANT to keep track of firsts this season? I will, I just need to know if people actually want to do that, or if that is so Season 5...

I am currently baby-sitting my sick hubby as he has now misssed his 7th day of work (not including a weekend). No, it's not swine flu...he has "asmatic bronchitis." Basically, he has crap in his lungs and he has to cough to get it all out. Joy.

I'm home sick again. Probably could have dragged into work but I've got plenty of sick time I never take and things are actually on the slow side at the office this week, so I figured I'd take advantage of it.

Hubby ran into a traffic jam caused by a big accident on his way in to a job interview, so he called me stressing out about being late. I called them for him so hopefully it won't be held against him. It's that crappy level 1 job but it's *something*.

Hoping that I'll be able to read through a few more Week 1 posts at work, if things are slow enough. So far I've read some great stuff--and I'm going to have a hard time choosing my Suggested Six (or so) for my recommended reading post!

Also, I can't say enough how impressed I am by how warm and welcoming, supportive and encouraging the members of this community are! It wasn't something I was really expecting when I signed up (since it's a "competition") and it's been a pleasant surprise. Each time I see a new comment in my inbox, it's like a little burst of happy goodness.

Hi all! I'm feeling much more human today. I wasn't fit to deal with anyone yesterday, thus my silence here! I don't know what black cloud decided to loom ugly over my head but thank the dogs it decided to move on to some other unsuspecting soul.

I just realized that the one playtester I don't want to review either Island Estate or Canadian Romance is going to be at this weekend's playtest. So, neither of those will be tested this weekend and will have to go another weekend. :-(

Oh man. I quit caffeine a few months ago. But, about a month + into it, I decided to finish off the end of the coffee in my freezer (about a mug and a half worth). I felt like I was going to die! My heart was palpitating like whoa and I couldn't stop shaking.
