I'm just thrilled I'm doing as well as I am. Granted, who knows if I can continue that throughout the season, but we'll see. :)

Otherwise, doing okay. Last night I dreamed I had a migraine (not that it was the main point of the dream, but throughout my activities I was battling a migraine) and it seems it wants to come true this morning. Boo. More coffee is needed and then I will try to push through some work today before it takes hold.

I've not even yet had time to address all comments and everything.

Still busy translating. I'm a bit under the weather but I hope this won't be a full blown cold or anything (it started freezing here last night!) as this weekend is my little one's 2nd birthday extravaganza!

In preparation for that I'm running around like crazy, and I'm not forgetting to work obviously -- as of yesterday I've got my own business but right now I'm working for the main job :) It's great to work at home but it's taxing too, what with all these distractions ;)

It's on the cold side here this morning... and they're predicting a bit of ice and snow for tonight.

It's the ice that scares me after my accident, not the snow. Yes, even after six years.

As far as the poll goes, I looked at it last night, and I'm just happy people voted for me, since this time around I didn't vote for myself. I'll look at it again tonight.

Apparently Mother Nature is enjoying jerking our chains out here... rainy, chilly, down in the 60's the past two days give way to temps in the upper 80's today. C'mon now, can we have some Fall now? Please? Pretty pretty please with sugar on top?

I get to do Front Desk duty this afternoon... never know how busy it will be, but fortunately I've got a book (By Heresies Distressed, by David Weber - book 3 in the Safehold series) just in case it is slow!

my day has started off crapola! my cleaning people usually come in the afternoon. So i was planning on going home at lunch and being there to let them in and getting a new key made on the way as Tuesday my lock had to be replaced due to the key braking in it. Yeah frustration max. Well they decided to come this morning! I get a call from a team member at 9:00 sharp that they can't get in, no duh! So this requires multiple phone calls to find out what i must do to get my management to let them in and finding a fax machine that will cooperate with the fax machine at my apartment complex and all while the poor cleaning team just wants to get started. All this would not have been a problem if they would have come in the afternoon or better yet my lock/key hadn't broken in the first place! The timing is just sucky!

Add to that i was planning on being there the first time they were cleaning while my retired guide dog was there to observe mostly and establish some boundaries for her... Yoysh!

So an hour later I am just now able to sit down and check what's happening in TGR. So, what craziness are you all up to today? Anyone else ever have a key brake in a lock?

I haven't experienced a broken key in the lock, but I have experienced someone giving me the wrong key to their house since I was caring for their place for a week... they gave me the wrong key and dad had to break in and set the alarm off... *red face!*
