For me at least it's been like hitting a chimp with a shovel. It happens so quickly and doesn't end up doing any good.

Wow.

I'm usually impressed but so far this is looking like it's going to be the toughest call yet. Which considering that we are close enough to the top 20 to touch it, I'd say is appropriate.

I'm only wearing this because I just got back from the gym. I'm taking the puppy out to the park once he's done with his morning kibble, then I get to change into my real clothes for the day.

My dog's sick, again. Poor girl's a purebred Old English Sheepdog, which means stomach problems are fairly common.

This morning we got the extra bonus of mucus+blood+vomit.

It's not Bloat, thank god, but we won't know what it is until tomorrow. In the mean time she got an anti-nausea shot and lots of lab work, plus 48 hour fast, with a bland diet afterward.

I saw the chimp story on the Today show this morning. Really weird. They said the woman bathed and slept with the chimp. Isn't that a little weird?

On another note, it's sloppy slushy out there today. But I'm here. Got my first annoying call of the day. A woman who whined that she is a personal care attendant but all the people who need help are disabled. (headdesk)

Yeah, it's the part of the week that always makes me nervous and it's happening at the time of the competition that always makes me the most nervous! )When some of the people who signed up for the community to support a specific person start to drop to the point that I start thinking maybe we need to go all community only vote from now until the end, and Green Room chatter starts to calm down to the point that I wonder if we should only have them every other day.)

I know from past experience that it always works itself out, and after a couple weeks things start spiraling back into a frenzied rush to the finish. But the calm before the storm always makes me worried that maybe this is the time that it *doesn't* happen. . .
