Hello.

If my email is any indication, people are eagerly awaiting the results from the Gatekeepers as well as awaiting this Weekend Green Room post! So here it is!

I did promise that as soon as the results came in that I would announce them.

So here they are:

We have 7 out of the 10 votes in at the moment!

Which means that I can't announce anything. I will say though that the votes so far are spread across the entire field, so this could get interesting as more votes trickle in.

Did I miss where the Gatekeepers' roles were explained? I see there are ten of them. Are they voting for whomever they want, or a set number? Just curious.

Since there was no GR for a while I had to find other pursuits. Started a new book...The Hour I First Believed by Wally Lamb. It's great so far! Other than that nothing eventful today. It's so cold out that I just couldn't bring myself to go to the movies like I had originally planeed.

Very busy, very exhausting weekend so far. Work, of course, is taking up the majority of it. Then there are the low calcium gremlins whom I believe are now setting up a household. We've got one week to finish cleaning out SO's storage. Will we make it? Stay tuned!

It's a five show weekend, so I'm spending most of my time at the theatre. But I did get yarn I had ordered today so I can now start on my friend's baby afghan. And my boyfriend wants me to teach him how to play cribbage - heh.

I'm doing good. I started knitting a blanket yesterday out of this buttery yarn that just melts. And we watched Toy Story and those toys from across the street scared me something awful. They were so creepy - and then add Randy Newman's songs on top of that? Yikes times 2.

And then I don't know what happened. I started playing the Wii and it was all of a sudden 1 AM? (I bought some silly game for the Wii that is trivia related and I'm awful at it!)

Also, got some more fish for the display aquarium (60 gallon). I'm trying my best to get the fish to breed, but one of the breeder fish in the tank that in its species is really aggressive isn't interested in the females. I've seen him start the "dance", but he never finishes it. He even has two females (In that breed of fish one needs two females for every 1 male because the male is so aggressive he can actually kill the female for doing the breeding dance with her too often).

... Okay I doubt anyone is interested in that, but that's what I've been doing.

Yesterday I napped as I had terrible insomnia the night before. Then I practiced and just kinda puttered around.

Today we already made a big Costco run! And now, I will do some housework. Then more practicing and very likely crocheting tonight, while my daughter furuba9 watch a Very Duggar Wedding and freak out over oddness. Then we shall bleach our brains to recover ;-)

I went to the gym and kicked my butt. I worked my arms so hard I can barely raise them over my head but it felt good to do. Does that make me strange?

So, because I can't post this in my real LJ because my husband reads it...As of yesterday I think I'm on my way to being a divorcee and single mom. Holy shit.

I feel incredibly terrified...but really hopeful too.

The funny thing is I didn't even use the word divorce, I just told him my 30th birthday wish last February was to be in love with my husband again and things hadn't changed for me over the last 11 months and that all we had in common any longer was our children...and he was ready to pack his bags immediately.

No "Maybe we should try counseling," or "This can't happen! What can I do to win you back??"

Seriously though I think there's a good chance of breaking the 100,000 comment mark by the end of the season. (or at very least the start of the next). Which, I've been looking around at various other groups *far* bigger than us who have far less comments!!!
