Who turned off the heat???

It's been cold the last couple of days, but I actually crunched my way across the frost covered grass this morning. Sure, it's not snow like the rest of well, pretty much everyone, is dealing with - but there's a reason why I'm not dealing with *that*, I'm trying to avoid this "winter thing".

Oh well, it's supposed to be back to the 70's by this afternoon. But still - right now, *cold*!!

Morning....
It's been a balmy 25 degrees here, crazy to think how that feels warm right now compared to this time last week. We are suppose get back into the negative temps this weekend though:(

Beyond that...
Happy it's Thursday and just that much closer to the weekend.

Doing my 2nd day at the over school program at a local school for my field experience for school after work today. Hopefully I will be able to interact with the kids a bit more then Tuesday.

Well it is 12 here with a rather nasty wind-chill.

I wonder if we are starting to vote tonight! Tonight is the night of my bowling league so I will be home late. I will be thinking while I am bowling about how voting will occur this week!


I will be reading entries all day. I read some really good ones so far. I love seeing what comes out of everyones minds when we don't have direction. There have been some pretty creative entries so far.

That's so cool that you're in a Bowling league. I get nervous about bowling alleys because I always forget and end up slipping and falling. And I'm being literal - I ALWAYS forget, every time. Even when I tell myself not to go past the line I get too excited and I go way past the line.

I wish I could bowl. I bet you're a good bowler. I like bowling shoes. I think they're cool. : D

Wall-E was amazing. Now I need to go see what all has been nominated instead...

I am ashamed to admit I have seen exactly NONE of the best picture nominees. I really want to get to Benjamin Button and Slumdog Millionaire though, so I'm putting that on my to-do list immediately.

Those Best Supporting Actor nominations are awesome though - Heath Ledger as the Joker and Robert Downey Jr from Tropic Thunder - SWEET!

Yesterday was notable in that I received my worst performance review ever for any job I've ever had (and I'm a lousy employee, prefer to be in charge, so I've had some bad reviews in my life). Two hours of listening to a seemingly-endless list of things I'd screwed up. Even though I think a lot of them were trumped-up charges and I officially disagreed with the review, it's still demoralizing as hell. Month of DOOM indeed.

The temperature here in North Georgia is...35 degrees, but it "feels like" 28, so says the Weather Channel.com. That isn't like Montana cold, but it's pretty chilly for us thin-blooded Southern peaches :)

Hello. My morning has been very calm and relaxed so far which is fabulous.

Of course then I have to go to an understudy runthrough this afternoon which is one of the more bizarre and unrealistic things we do, so I'm trying hard to not be cranky about it. (Bizarre and unrealistic because I have 5 understudies covering 9 roles in a 10 person play.)

I didn't have an issue with it. You described pretty accurately the reason why I cringe whenever someone, at our gatherings, says "Let's play a game!" and heads for my collection (I have almost as many and as much variation as you, I'm a board game addict). Party participants rarely pick things I am good at like Scrabble or Boggle. Risk infuriates me; I've never finished a game because *blush* I always throw the board.

*puts a comfy stool under your feet* If you're gonna hang, you might as well be comfortable. Feel better!
