I just got back from seeing Los Campesinos tonight. They put on a really fun show.

I figured that I would come in and post a Green Room before I fell asleep to give some of the night owls/damn foreigners a chance at getting a "first"!*G*

Looking at the lack of responses to yesterday's Green Room though I'm starting to wonder. . .

Today is beeker121's birthday. So Happy Birthday to her! BUT, if we don't get over 100 responses to this post, I'm sorry but her birthday is going to have to be cancelled!!

Sorry beeker121 but that's just how it's got to be. So people better get posting or someone is going to come to her house and repossess her cake and candles!!!

Well, it was rather quiet, from what I saw when I was going through my FL. Actually my FL was mostly quiet today. I suspect it was because of the inauguration.

My neck feels swollen and stiff enough I could swear it's as thick as my waist. (Not really, because I'm not a skinny bitch, but it's what it feels like.) Hopefully this is the turning point; I don't want to miss physio tomorrow.

I really enjoyed watching Barack and Michelle dance at the Neighborhood Ball. It's refreshing to have a couple in the White House that is still in love even after kids and careers.

I only wish I was as classy as the First Lady with hair that always falls right where it's supposed to... ;)

Back to work tomorrow. I may stick some Hot Italian Sausages into the crock pot for sandwiches before I go to work.

I am completely lost on this Open Topic. I thought I had a few good ideas but in trying to write them they all came out sounding flat, feeling uninteresting. Not cool, especially since if it weren't for some cool LJ friends of mine there's no way I would have made it through the last round. I have to make sure whatever I write is perfect this round.

Morning everyone. Hope everyone else is feeling a lot more vital than I am. I've slept 23 hours in the past 48! I'm sick with a cold. Sore throat, the whole bit. Sent the hubby to the store yesterday - all I wanted was kleenex - he picked up everything on the list (aquarium salt, cheese, and other grocery items) and FORGOT the kleenex! I keep telling him, "Greg, it's not cute anymore," but what can I do? I felt personally slighted at that. I guess I gotta apologize for being so cranky towards him yesterday.

I want to be back in bed again...

Didn't comment in the GR yesterday because of how sick I was. If I did comment yesterday, I didn't remember that I did.

I think we're going to have meatloaf and mashed potatoes for dinner tonight (yes, on my day off, I ponder dinner at breakfast time...don't ask).

I need to pick up the Jeep from the dealership. $85 to recalibrate one of the sensors :grr:

Everything is melty and getting somewhat warm, so there will be a Very Happy Little Girl Dog once her human mom gets herself in gear :)
