So how are *you* this weekend?

Thus far my fingers are getting sore from inputting all the votes! Quite a few so far and I haven't even scratched the surface. So if you've already sent yours in, thank you and please be patient. When I add them to the official count is when I send you an email handing you the "I Made Freedom Count"/"I voted") stickers!!!*G*

So far it's, I believe the word is "interesting". Heh. . . ok, I'll just tell you that again I'm not very far in and already it's a close one across the entire list. Which just shows (1) how very talented everyone is and (2) how diverse the idea of "best entries" is from each individual's perspective. It's fascinating, for me, to get a concentrated inside look on what is going on in everyone's head as far as how they see their fellow writers.

Anyway - it's back to the grindstone for me. How about you???

Might go to the movies this afternoon. We'll see. Still don't feel that great but oh well. Supposed to get about a foot of snow by tomorrow. Joy of joys!

I couldn't get to sleep until 4AM, and then I slept in fits and starts until 11:30AM, with various crazy dreams like having suddenly inherited 36 kittens, and having aliens shrink the Earth so that distances were measured in city blocks and war was eliminated because borders meant nothing anymore.

I'm tempted to be deliciously evil and to stir up trouble by telling people which 25 I would have voted for if I could have voted. But I'm not that evil.

My Saturday is going to be dedicated to doing paperwork, writing e-mails, watching football and putting away laundry. We're expecting snow overnight, and I am actually looking forward to it, because it will be better traction than the two inches of ice we have on our sidewalks right now. I haven't been out of the house in a week!

There's no way I'm going to be able to narrow it down to 25. I will, because I have to, but I won't like it. I'm only about 20 entries in, so I need to hustle (too much going on this weekend).

Same here - about 20 entries in, trying to rank them on a scale of 1-5 so I know who to vote for... I doubt there will actually be any "1's" on the list, probably lots of 3's and 4's, but maybe it'll help narrow my to-vote-for list down!!

We're off to put down a deposit on a location for the wedding and get all the details set in writing as to what we want. Then it's off to the mall to look for a dress (yay dark purple!) and Best Buy to spend my gift card from Christmas.

I got to work about 30 minutes ago and will be here for a little over 12 hours today. (There is a two hour dinner break in there, hopefully I'll even get to take most of it.) I'm still only about halfway through the entries, I'll keep reading in the odd pauses during my day.

Also, I think I'm just switching to this icon for the remaining month of doom. I doubt it'll get any less freaky.

I forgot to email myself my voting grid from work, so I had to take an old list from week 4 (back when there were still around 145 people) and delete all those who had been eliminated, which took a while, LOL!

So far, I've only read about 20 entries (give or take) but I'm having to go back and re-skim those to give them a "rank" from 1-5. I honestly doubt there will be any 1's on the list at this stage, probably lots of 3's and 4's, but at least it'll help narrow down which 24 contestants deserve my vote this week!

I got to bed around 4am last night, slept soundly until around 9:30, then snoozed until hubby got back home around noon. Got up, made some Grands biscuits, bacon, eggs, and homemade gravy for us for breakfast.

Just finished watching the last ep of Atlantis, and are now watching Numb3rs, then when hubby goes to sleep I'll go upstairs and get some more Idol reading done. I expect I'll have my list sent out sometime this evening... maybe tomorrow at the latest.

I can't imagine how interesting it must be on your end. I also can't imagine what it's going to be like when the counts all come in and are tallied.

I'm nervous for myself, but I'm actually much more nervous for other people. Not because I think I'm going to slide right by this week because I don't have a clue, but because I know I'm not going to be up-beat about whoever leaves this week whether I'm in the mix or not. Still, it's the way the game is played and of course we can't find out who the idol is this season unless 99% of us leave.

(I'm going to LR today and out to eat. But first, something about working? ::sigh:: oh well. At least I can do it from home.)

The girls decided that last night was a good time to play all night instead of sleep. Somehow, even with getting woken up multiple times I managed to sleep. I know this because I had some really crazy dreams last night.

Needless to say, Saturday has not been as productive as I'd hoped (we haven't touched the Christmas tree yet). On the other hand, I put the girls to work on cleaning their room since they had so much energy. It's still a mess, but getting better. Also, they've been taking a lot of play breaks which I'm sure undoes some of the progress. Jason and I did managed to sneak in a nap during an extended play break, which was a bonus.

Just back from the new session of bellydancing. Was a good time and workout. Looks as though we will be doing another performance but for a larger group next month or March which is kind of scary.

Well I look like a half demented hamster because one side of my face is swollen up for some reason. It's better than it was yesterday but if it doesn't clear up today I might even have to go and see a DOCTOR *gasp*!

I just got home from work, and now have to study and listen to a kinetics lecture... or rather, I have to do those things at some point this weekend.

I worked with a 4th year pharmacy student today and she and the pharmacist assured me I'm about to hit a big ramping up in terms of what I feel like I know, which is good because right now I don't feel like I know anything, except hypertension drugs, and I don't even know those that well!

I still have to read probably 30 entries at least.

I remember seeing something about Mercury going into retrograde soonish - was that maybe today? I swear our director is using words that are all part of the english language but he has different meanings for them than the rest of us do. My rehearsal this evening has creeped to a pace even slower than a crawl. 30 more minutes, 30 more...
