I have received the "priority list" of how that final immunity is to be used. So it *will* be coming into play. Which I guess makes it the "immunity of doom!"

I guess I'm here early for a change. The husband started his 7-4 shift today, pending a system going live, and it really sucks because we live so far from the city he has to be up at 5 and gone within half an hour of that.

Today, of all days, he misplaced his wallet. We turned the entire house upside down (and no, I did not enjoy being pried from my warm bed, I had intended to sleep until 9 like I always do!) only to find it in his pants pocket. The pants were right where I told him they'd be.

Oh, well. At least the house is reasonably clean now and I can nap later.

Anyone got coffee? I'm freezing my butt off here!

me? x-x I have a headache because i was a very brilliant idiot and couldn't find my snowboots and attempted to head out of the house with sneakers on.... and the whole way around my house is a sheet of ice. needless to say i now have a nasty bump and a headache and it is very unlikely I'm going to make my morning trek to figuring out where the hell the courthouse is downtown....

Did anyone ever spray a fragrance that you don't normally wear, and realize how much it stinks once you are wearing it?

I did that today, and it is really stong, now I am going to stink all day. :(

We had a female technician (and I'm sorry but what she was wearing WAS NOT WORK APPROPRIATE) that got creamed for wearing perfume on a floor that was supposedly "fragrance free" first off, the women on the floor were jealous of her and there were NO POSTED signs and that's the rule, you're supposed to have signs that state it's a "fragrance free" floor.

And um..the men DID not complain.

I think it was what she was wearing...

So I guess that's not a solution - wearing something to distract 'em?

(sorry I get evil sometimes)

Vacations need to be LONGER. At least a three day weekend is coming up soon.

Going to work for the first time in 11 days. So, not happy about that.

Also, up before noon for the first time in 11 days. Again, not happy.

But, on the happier side, I need the time in my office to look for work. And, I am curious as to the state of my accounts after being gone for so long.

Being back at work is "DOOMy" enough for me! The only good thing is with the University up and running again, with everyone back after long breaks, hopefully the hiring managers for the jobs hubby and I are both up for will be ready to start calling us in for interviews- they posted the jobs in November but nothing ever actually seems to get done between Thanksgiving and New Years when it comes to things like that... so any spare "happy vibes" you can send our way for that would be much appreciated! Esp. for hubby- I want the new job but at least I have one!

So this morning, as I'm lying awake and staring at my alarm clock at 6:30 a.m., I'm thinking to myself: "24 hours ago, I was just going to SLEEP. And now I'm supposed to get UP, go to work, and pretend to be human."

Very tired this morning since I couldn't sleep last night since I was worrying about Miss Nox's knee, she seems to have either re-injured or strained her knee that she had to have surgery on last year. She seems to be favoring it a bit this morning but hopefully she'll be okay. Other than that I'm cold and need to get to work on more dreamcatchers. :)

5-hour nosebleed last night led to 2 hours at the ER. Of course, after getting there the nose bleed stopped before a doctor came to see me. I DID lose so much blood that they thought they were going to have to put me on an IV (after nearly fainting on my way to the bathroom), but thankfully I recovered well.

Still out of it today, but healthy and alive. Going to class soon, so wish me luck!

I was supposed to go back to work. I woke up with some sort of flu. I thought I had kicked the cold I had last week and felt fine yesterday. It manifested itself in a new creative way. Ugh.
So back to bed went.

I canceled my day and all I was supposed to do, called work, my ride, a doctors office, etc. to cancel. Even canceled a doctor for tomorrow because I don't wanna deal. Then called my pulmomologist to get better meds. No call back yet. I slept from eight to eleven, restlessly, I can't get a deep breath.

baxaphobia is real sick too. It's the sick house. Drinking the last of my egg drop soup. I need to get the strength to make soup or broth.
