I hope the new year is treating you well so far. It's kind of a shame that such a nice year is starting off with The Month of Doom!*G*
We are still missing quite a few entries over at:
http://community.livejournal.com/therealljidol/214749.html with *less than 24 hours to go* (remember there was an earlier in the day deadline) so hopefully people don't end up jumping the gun and dooming themselves!!!*G*
As opposed to all the self-dooming that I assume went on last night!!
I know that there is apparently some foods that are supposed to be "good luck" to eat on New Years. So, um, someone pass around whatever those happen to be!*g*

My boyfriend called me at midnight where he was, and then I called him at midnight where I was. Still not the same as an in-person kiss but oh well.

Date: 2009-01-01 09:25 pm (UTC)Went out last night to play laser tag at a local place. Won one game out of seven, finally wrapping up at around 5:30am. My back is hating me right now. :/ (On the plus side, my New Year's resolution was "get more exercise," so I'm off to a flying start.)
Today will be watching football, compiling year-end stats for Scrabble club, and possibly a home-game entry.

A remote-control T Rex that rears itself up and gives a deafening roar! Plus the back lights up in alternate colors whenever it moves. It drove all the adults nuts, which, of course, made my nephew cherish it even more.
I'm freezing. I'm tempted to crawl into bed and stay there so I can stay warm.
