Good morning everyone! I got a little anxious with the responses today and accidentally responded to the topic post. It's deleted now, but sorry about that, Gary!

The last week of 2008 means 'screw the diet' as far as I'm concerned! It also means spending some time at the Walgreen's website using up the rest of my FSA money (someone took out way too much this year, so Band-Aids and Sudafed and Advil will be available in absurd quantities at Chez scienter)

*back to the bloody daily grind*..and I'm not at all looking forward to it.

We forgot to do our timesheets for last week but it doesn't matter anyways - it's not like we're getting paid for taking the week off (we're contractors)

The countdown's on - to mid March - when we'll probably lose our job...we have that long to find another one... :(

I'm in the office. I'm not happy about it. I hate this place. Also, my husband's business shuts down Wednesday, and I'll be left with figuring out how to dissolve a corporation and how to pay everyone we still owe money to. Details. Any lawyers on this list? *sigh*

My New Year's resolution may simply be to hang on to my job and some level of sanity, in which case I'm pretty stumped for anything to write this week. Hopefully I'll have a brainstorm of some kind...

Good morning all!

So, yesterday. Between sleeping in and taking a nap with my daughter, I got 11 hours of sleep. I t was like a vacation!

Then last night I stayed up until 2, got squished between the babies in their bed and this morning I was awoken with my son's big wet sneeze on my face around 7:15. This is my real life.

today to burn off some energy, but I'm ready to get back to the writing! I love MJ's. It's a big warehouse full off bouncing castle type slides and enclosures. It's what I often wish the whole world could be for my kids - brightly colored and padded :)

I'm apparently not firing on all cylinders yet, but am applying coffee now.

My husband is still on vacation today, so we'll be puttering around the homestead. I have a music lesson at 12:30, and there may be a short Costco hit - my kids are MILKAHOLICS!

My son's alarm went off at 2 a.m. last night...I woke up to stumble around the house looking for the strange beeping noise. He's 5, and must have just pushed the wrong button on it and inadvertently set it. Sadly, for 2 a.m. :-P He slept right through it. Hence my slightly off-kilter brain functioning (because of course I couldn't just fall right back asleep :-P )

G'morning! I slept something like 9 or 10 hours and still feel like I can sleep the rest of the day.

I have my zillions-vials-of-blood test today. Yesterday a coworker was telling me about her horror show about readjusting her meds after she had her thyroid out. All I can say is this is NOT going to be fun :shudder:

I am ecstatic. Great Christmas with the family (once we got past the seemingly required C. Eve ER visit - I fell and torqued my knee), AWESOME loot involving an HP widescreen Notebook, and the day after, my lovely stagger_lee77 and mate supremegoddess1 arrived! There have been outings had, Indian food consumed, lots of Cranium played, and now I'm stuck working while they probably sleep in all morning.

Then again, if we'd stop staying up until dawn, maybe I wouldn't be so tired. :searches for icon of the three of us: Oh, damn, must make one. Well, here's me and Lee!

Our network at the office has been out ALL MORNING and only came up about 15 minutes ago. So of COURSE I had to drop by the GR first, LOL!

Otherwise, I'm doing well, thanks for asking. Short work week again (Mon-Weds) then another blessed 4-day weekend, w00t!

I've got my two bestest gal pals coming over tonight for pizza and movies/games, yay! And hubby is actually off work for New Year's Eve this year, after having had to work like the last five of them (although fortunately he didn't have to be in to work until after midnight) so we're having some friends over Wednesday evening to ring in the new year with us. :)
