I'm SO burned out from work, and my husband's business is going down the tubes so he's looking for a job, but of course nobody is hiring in December even though they post ads... *sigh* This is going to be a non-Christmas this year. Maybe next year will be better.

Sleepy. Going to do Christmas shopping this evening, sans kids but with my husband...and the rest of the city. Ugh. We're steering clear of the big malls, so hopefully that will help some. Going to try to make it to a local toy store that's only open til 6pm.

I think that my cat, Creamsickle, has learned to cast Sleep. Which is bad because I could have sworn I was higher than 4th level.

I fell asleep on the sofa at 10:30 last night with her in my lap. I turned off the tv and went to bed at 5. I wondered if it was a good idea to go to bed at 5 with an alarm that goes off at quarter till 7.

Turns out it wasn't. I missed the alarm and woke up at 9, the time I'm supposed to be at work. So, I'll be working through lunch instead of LJ-ing.

Good morning/afternoon.

When I thought about it, I was really looking forward to my husband taking the rest of the year off I thought it would be absolutely awesome and I could get a bunch of stuff done. But today he already messed with my chi by twisting the blinds in my computer area to be open. I like them closed. I'd imagine I could probably make a list a couple pages long if I chronicled these things.

BUT! We're going to the used book store today (at least I think we are).

Also, there aren't many days left before I'm 28, seeing how my birthday is this Saturday.

Hi GR!

It's been a crazy day. We're in the middle of snow panic. We postponed our holiday party til Monday. We had to scurry around to reschedule our drop in center party. So it's been a bit nuts. It looks like quite a storm coming. So I may not work tomorrow. We shall see.

imafarmgirl and i might make more cookies this weekend since most of what we made last week are gone. between what we gave away and what Bruno ate...

Anyway, Life is ok here and I hope all are well out there in Greenie land!
