Good afternoon!

I was just curious about the commenting again (yeah I know it was only a couple weeks ago that I realized that we had about 5,000 comments to go before hitting 75,000!) and I realized that we were now just shy of 1,500 to go! You guys is talky meat!*G*

So what is going on? Any suggestions for who should be brought into the game? Or who might really need a bye to survive the next couple of weeks? Any suggestions for what to get me for Christmas? (drat - I said that in my "out loud" voice again didn't I???)

Things seem to be "ok" on that front at the moment. No telling when it will decide to go out again. But for now it's decided to work.

I just need more time. I got home from the Christmas party last night at 2 AM. I'm 15 minutes late to my other friend's graduation party. At 3, I'm running a playtest that I haven't had time to prepare for.

Sometime in between that I need to go to Target and buy my office Secret Santa present as well as get a video tape because I'm almost certainly going to miss the beginning of Armageddon tomorrow.

Tomorrow, I have two playtests, the PPV, and somewhere in all of that I need to find time to bake 30-50 pepperoni rolls for an office bake sale.

So close being first!!!!!

Today it is, so far, -19C with wind chill of -31C. My lower back is hating me because of it! Expected to be -26C on Monday, possibly with a wind chill... I had to go out last night, and the wind was practically whippin' around!

I will be organizing my room, since my parents are going to re-arrange my room and put my new CCTV in. It is also laundry day.

I had great "crap" dip last night... it was a typo I had made and no one except a friend noticed a mistake, when I was asked if I meant crab dip, and start to laugh at my typo.

Morning all. Got some bad news last week from the doctor and didn't want to say too much here about it, but due to doctor's orders, I might not be around the GR as much as usual. This place seems so quiet today.

We did our final walk through on the house this morning. Everything is set for us to move in next week. Then we watched an amazing NCAA basketball game -- Georgetown beat Memphis in OT. If you were watching the game on CBS and you saw the Hoya Santa, you may have seen me in the shot in the background.

My mood has taken a 180 degree turn. This is good for me (good bye depression, hello happy-high!) but I have to be careful not to let it go to far.

Expressing opinions: I remember having this power last season. I would love to see tigrkittn come in as a HG player - she would be a really tough competitor. There are plenty of good players who had to leave because of time constraints who I would love to see come back (if they are interested). As for byes, I could use one (and I am not ashamed to say so) but there are probably other players who are more deserving.

I've already made one rec, and my other is that ____hejira be returned to the game. She was eliminated due to mitigating circumstances, and she was one of the strongest writers this season.

Hi everyone!

I hope everyone is having a good weekend. I went Christmas shopping last night and for some reason I thought I could handle carrying around the weight that I did around the mall. I pulled my back. I'd say I could use some sexual healing, but I don't think I would be too fun at that now.

I am also thinking hard about who will be back into the game. I already have my heart set on one, but rec's are appreciated.

Passes you a tub of home made arnica salv. It's good for all muscle ills. That sounds very painful. Sometimes I want one of those little carts on wheels, but not sure how I would do the bus with both that and my dog, but lifting stuff around the mall sucks, and then you have to put it all down to grope other stuff.

I have to say, Gary, that I've been giggling all weekend at the phrase "talky meat". Yes, I'm five years old... at least bits of my psyche are. But truly, thank you for the giggle.

* What is going on? Still waiting for updates about my mom, but she seems stable for now. [She went in to the hospital with an irregular EKG and they found atrial fibrillation.] Having several unpleasant e-mail exchanges with professional colleagues who really should know better. Not watching the Jets game the way Michael and I wanted to, because of matters relating to both the Mom situation and the colleague situation.

* Suggestions for bring back players, or bringing players in? Well, I had stated in the post that announced the "twist" that while I wouldn't mind coming back, since the good news that made me drop out has been deferred, I still am not sure it would be fair, since I've yet to do a Home Game entry since I left. However, if that's not a factor, then I'd like to see newbie tigrkittn come in or vets dubheach and marjory return.

Or me. I'm not humble.

* Regarding byes: Here, I'm stumped. I think everyone deserves another bye, but I can see where that would extend the season into unmanageable proportions like last season.

* What to get you for Christmas? The Heat Miser / Snow Miser song duel inspires me to suggest that I send some of our snow and ice to you down in Southtown.

I've been in a bit of a rut lately, which includes not feeling like writing, chatting or anything, but hopefully that's about to become a thing of the past.
