Green Room - Week 3 - Weekend Edition

 It's my last day of "freedom" (I start my new job tomorrow). I wish more of that freedom had felt like something other than panic. 

The last week has been nice though, knowing that I had a job... the closer I've gotten though, the more REAL it becomes.  These are going to be my new co-workers. This is going to be the new job. New place I'm working... and I'm going to have to figure it all out!!

I know it's shocking that the guy who encourages long form social media usage doesn't like change!  ;)

I went to the movie theater as a "I got a job!" treat and saw "Longlegs" with Nicholas Cage.  It was weird and fun! Mostly weird. Between that and Late Night with the Devil there is a clear shift in horror from monsters (zombies, vampires) back to demonic possessions. Possessed dolls have been popping up more and more over the last decade but full-on demonic possession 1970s style has returned! What scares us as a society shifts with the mood of the country/world. And apparently what's in the back of people's minds right now is the Devil.

Green Room - Week 3 - Day 4

 I'm writing this the night before since I don't know how much time I will have in the morning. 

I want to get off to a good start to my first day at work.  So who knows how many other major world figures will have stepped down from reelection by the time I start seeing responses.  ;) 

Sundays were supposed to be slow news days!!!!  :D

Definitely worth checking out - and not just because pretty much anything Parker Posey is in is going to be good, although seriously, does she take bad roles??? She does *a lot* so there has gone to some that come to mind. But nothing off the top of my head.

I'm getting the "go to bed!!!" stare. So I'm going to bed.  I'll just go ahead and post this now though, so I don;t have to bother with in the morning. Two Green Rooms on one day - you're welcome!  :)
