Green Room - Week 9 - Day 4

I started my day by finally taking the written exam and receiving my Learner's license to drive.

Yes, I'm in my 40s. No, I've never had one before.

Circumstances didn't put me in a position to learn when I "should have", and over the years, it was always one thing or another.

The truth is, I just didn't want it badly enough.

Now I do. Now I have a reason to want to drive.

So I went out and I studied, and got the license!

The tough part, learning on a stick, is still to come. But that fear that has kept me from going out and doing it has been conquered.

Not a bad way to start the weekend.
